  1. Jachin, Sounds like you've got your crimp right now if your shooting those kind of groups at 10 yds. I reload 9mm also and have loaded thousands of them. I've had problems with to much crimp in the past also. For me it depended somewhat on what type of bullet I was using wether it was a copper jacketed bullet or a copper plated bullet. I've found the copper plated bullets can be overcrimped much easier. This might not be the most scientific way to test, but I first measure the oal, then put one in a clip, load into the gun and rack the slide. I don't put any powder in the test round. I'll do this to the same bullet a few times and then measure the oal again to make sure it hasn't changed. I use just enough crimp so the round can be loaded into the chamber with no change in oal.
  2. Angus is a great guy to deal with and has always went out of his way to help anytime I've ordered from him. Probably the best customer service I've had.
  3. I saw a guy do the same thing once. He kinda resembled the guy in your avatar only he had shorter hair.
  4. I appreciate the response and the pics. I thought about going that route but I went ahead and ordered some of Hennings 21 round base pads. thanks for all the help though.
  5. I don't mind the curve on my match. It's not nearly as curved as ths stock trigger on the sp01.
  6. The stock plastic base pads? Mine are the plastic ones. I've got some ordered from henning but I'm not sure if he has all of them in stock. I might have to do some of what your suggesting.
  7. PACT club shot timer III midway has them for 129. Been using one for a couple of years now and is really easy to use.
  8. Jodus, I've got a 6, 8, and a 10 spare spring if you interested. Just let me know.
  9. Just wondering, what's the benefit of a straight trigger?
  10. Thanks again man. Looks like I'll be ordering some of those from henning too.
  11. I just found out from henning that he does have them in stock their just not on the website yet. So looks like I'll be placing and order with him in the near future.
  12. Thanks man, I have an elite match and I know he has the grips to fit it but I'm not sure which one fits with the magwell. I'm thinking with the magwell I'll have to buy the ones that fit the limited instead of the match.
  13. Waazzzuuuup!

  14. Well the stock II sounded pretty interesting until that post and the 1000 dollar price tag. You can build an extremely nice sp01 with that kind of money. Just my opinion.
  15. thanks for the fast reply, I see Enos has that on sale right now too.
  16. If you could buy just one dvd to learn the basic skills for say uspsa style shooting what would it be? Or the one you would buy first anyway. thanks
  17. If I install a ccc magwell on my elite match, will I have to also install extended base pads on my mags. Or will the factory base pads still work? thanks
  18. Thanks for the info! That's quite a bit thinner than the stock grips. It's nice to have a place to ask these kind of questions with people who are willing to help out. thanks again Brian
  19. Cha-Lee So the aluminum grips you bought from henning to fit that canyon creek magwell, are they on his website? Or are they a special length? I am very interested in one of these magwells and some aluminum grips that will work with it. thanks

    CZ SP-01 What now?

Thanks stuart, just wanted to make sure.
  21. Let me see your papers!

  22. How much thinner are the henning aluminum grips compared to the stock rubber grips on an elite match? The oem grips feel way to thick and I would like to thin it out a bit.

    CZ SP-01 What now?

What about the stainless steal mag break? Is that production legal in uspsa?
  24. Yes, it must be removed and it will remain out as long as you run that pin.. Mike Thanks for the help Mike.
