  1. Mine gets stuck bad enough that it has broken the primer carrier a couple of times. It gets in a bind and I just quit using it. I loaded 6 rounds before it broke last time.
  2. Are there any slots avail? Trying to decide on this one or Double Tap. May be able to get out of work to make the match.
  3. I like it. It is same weekend as Texas Multigun matches. The good part is this one is closer. I have a long drive either way.
  4. I use an adjustable gas block on my 308. It has fixed the extractor problem. The gun is way over gassed. It is the only one I run an adjustable gas block on.
  5. I pulled out of match so another slot is opened up for anyone needing a spot.
  6. Finally made it to A class in single stack. It really does help to shoot some matches. I plan to shoot SS in a couple of majors this year.
  7. No. slide profile is the problem. I have a spare DSG arms holster if you are interested. I tried several 1911/ 2011 holsters on mine and never got one to fit.
  8. Back the seat plug all the way out. Adjust the die down until it starts crimping. Used mine like that until I got a Dillon crimp die.
  9. I shoot my personal targets with anything I can find. No holes or dimples in the true AR 500 stuff. I do have a few that are banged up pretty bad that I know were not AR500. Part of the issue is in the cutting process. All my MGM targets and c zones I have do not show much wear on them. I shoot all calibers at them from 100yds and further. My main ammo for last few months has been Wolf gr jhp. Saving the XM193 for majors.
  10. If it was a little closer I would make the drive. Hope everyone has fun for a good cause. Mike
  11. Part of the issue is removal of the hand guard to get inside guard and tighten up screws. I got rid of mine because of this issue. My carbon fiber tube was not meant to be removed.
  12. They are having precision matches in Marble Falls also. Copperhead shooting center. They just hosted the 3 gun precision match a couple of weeks ago. There is also a long range match in Orange Grove. I have not been to it yet. I looked into to going to Bayou Rifles in Rosharon but they do not allow shooting steel. As far as tearing up steel with a 25-06, I would not worry about it. Most matches are capping bullet size at 30 cal. There is a long distance rifle range being built in Fulshear. Not sure if they will be doing matches.
  13. I used it for a match and really don't have anything good to say about it. I am trying to decide on another Nightforce. I am also considering a bushnell HDMR or Vortex. Looking at the different reticle options. This one is going on my .17 hmr for plinking.
  14. One of the main reasons I did not work harder at going to this match. It was a big factor in not trying to shoot match. I had the vacation time. Went to production nats instead.
  15. I will be coming in from south. As long as I am dry it won't be too bad. I like the little wind for Sunday. I will probably drive in Saturday night.
  16. I got a Millett 4x16 mil dot scope in trade that was already mounted on the gun. I have used it and it seems to be okay. I have only used it out to 300 yds. I have not done any dialing with it yet other than Zero. How well do these hold up? May need to use it for next weekends precision match and just holdover with the mil dots. My other guns are being loaned out for hunts so I can't pull scopes off them. I want to use this gun since it has a detachable mag and bipod already mounted. Mike
  17. I haven't shot with this club before. Will have to see if work calls in the morning.
  18. Warne mounts on my guns. 20 Moa mount not needed for 3 gun. I am looking into a Vortex also.
  19. Push it forward out of battery with slide stop out. Youwill have enough room to turn bushing.
  20. Are first timers allowed? Never shot with the club before. Thinking about making the drive.
