  1. Schroed, It is always a pleasure to visit with you also; wish we had more free time though. Your 4.5% error comes out to measuring 1/25th of an inch at 100 yards though. Most shooters, rifles and scopes cannot get that accuracy, let alone the ammo on top of that. A lot of people I have seen measure groups measure to the 1/4 inch and call it good. Once you get out to 300 - 400 yards where you can see a difference, wind starts to come into effect. I am just saying that the scope adjustment is usually much better than the shooter performance especially down to the second decimal point. Take care my friend, Dale
  2. I think there are very few shooters or rifles that could tell the difference in this. Dale
  3. The scope correction would be four clicks, not 14. It is just over one minute off and it is quarter minute clicks. Dale
  4. I am reading this while stuffing my face with biscuits and gravy! Dale
  5. Turn those 3 Charlies into Alphas and that wil make a big difference in Production. Keep it up! Dale
  6. I would't do the butter but I think I could camp out at the mini pecan pie booth. That sounds good. Dale
  7. It had a flat tail and gophers don't come with that option from the factory. Dale
  8. I forgot to ask; is it the QM's job to wash the beaver after the three day abuse it took? Dale
  9. I just got back to PA and that match was definitly worth the trip. Thanks Frank for a very fun match. I don't think I have seen sod float like that for quite some time now but we made it through. Thanks to all of the staff also. Job very well done!! Dale
  10. Here is a good place to start. It may have the information you need. http://www.cartridgecollectors.org/headstampcodes.htm Dale
  11. Flex may not be over the hill but he has a darn good view of the valley. I know because I have the same view. Happy B-day Flex! Dale
  12. What memory...I forgot where I put mine. Dale
  13. The guns I have had to work on with a case stuck that bad ended up getting the barrel taken off of it to get the case out. If you have the wrench to remove the barrel, take it off and use an easy-out to grab the case and pull it out. This is usually a last resort though. Dale
  14. Sorry for the post but I was answering post #6 that asked about the holster being legal in production. Dale
  15. The CR holsters I have seen for the XD are not legal in Production. There are no race holsters in Prod. Dale
  16. My mom, who is a good shot, was shooting at a porcupine in the opposite ditch than she was parked in. She leaned across the bed rail of the pickup with a scoped rifle and put a nice four hole group through the opposite side bed rail. She couldn't figure out why she couldn't hit the porcupine until she finally saw her group in the truck. Dale
  17. When I reload the primers on my 1050, I throw a double handful of bullets in the KISS and keep running. About every four primer fills and I throw more brass in the case feeder. Dale
  18. I have been shooting an XD40 for L10 for a couple of years shooting major with no problems at all. They seem to work fine with major loads. Dale
  19. Frank, do you still have room to accept ammo shipments? I want to ship mine over there but if you have too much already, I can just bring it with me. Thanks, Dale
  20. Dang Frank, USPSA is going to make this match a classifier if you have any more GM's show up...good job!! Your matches are always fun. Dale
  21. Sights don't help much for shooting when you look right over the top of them but they sure make it easier to open the beer bottle afterward. Dale
