Very cool. The Ark State IDPA match is the same weekend (in Little Rock, 200m away), so you could shoot 2 majors in 1 weekend.

Its pretty common to grind/file some material out of the Ice insert. Some of them snap into the well better than others.

I couldnt get one to fit a DAA belt either. It was an ordeal, but I did get it on the CR Speed.

Presuming that you dont desire a decocker; Shadow. No FPB. Heavy, nice for recoil management. Better trigger shape than standard sp01 or 75's Full length sight radius. Get one from Matt Mink or Angus, fully worked, you wont be sorry. They shoot like a dream. A fairly expensive dream.

I can relate...I just got an old Commander in .38 Super (or as Colt calls it; Super 38, which is just plain cool) Eventually, I'll dress this up as my 'formal' carry gun. But I gotta compete with it at some point. I'm torn, leave it original, or spiff it up? A modern beavertail and sights would make it more shootable, but might get me blackballed by the purists. What a problem to have;-)
