  8. I made the switch a few months ago and was all nervous about it. Its no big deal, do some regular dry fire sessions and you'll have it down in no time.
  9. How did I miss this? Here ya go, these Glock touches are for you.
  10. After trying multiple other books on the subject I found this one to be a good change of pace. Most other books have you stand in one place and "blast" at the targets, which is important for those just starting out and those looking only to increase their classifier scores. This book goes a little deeper helping with skills to make a well rounded shooter. While some of the drills are challenging, it's a good thing. The book will very quickly point out weak spots in your game, something I have found can take longer with other books. All in all I have to say if you are just starting out or even a vet, you should take a look. Worth it! Kindle http://www.amazon.co...57167928&sr=1-3 Paperback http://www.amazon.co...57167928&sr=1-2
  11. You know what they say about resistance.
  12. Ran em most of this year in Production with Glock and CZ mags. No complaints
  13. My fire for improvement has recently been re-lit so I have been seeking out training info more than ever. I have Brians book, Seeklanders book, and Andersons first book. All of those book while great, dont really click with me at times. In comes Ben and Jay. Ben is, well a younger dude like me so I figure for the low price of 10 bucks Id give it a shot. Glad I did... The book wouldnt be all that great for noobs, but I got almost 2 years under my belt and I think the book really works well for those that are newish, but not virgins. Sometimes when I look at drills and such the only thing on my mind is " How do I know Im good(or getting there)." Well in this book a GM/ 2 time champ has told me what is "good". Thank you, question asked and answered. Finallly. The biggest thing I got out of the book, besides the cool drills: The real reason we should strive for GM. We shouldnt strive for it cuz its a cool title or a status symbol. We should strive for it because the stand and shoot skills that get us to GM are only the start of what it takes to be a winner. Being a paper GM is fine if that is what you are after, but really GM is a stepping stone in a shooters climb. Its not the goal.
  14. My search-fu must be weak tonight. Thanks, will try again
  15. Going to be putting a JP tube on a new upper build. This is my first time trying the JP and I was wondering if I should just follow the instructions exactly or if you guy have found any tricks that you like to use on them.
  16. Sarge, Does the shape of the plug look like it would be easier on softer bullets than the Dillon?
  17. Lite for negative 14f to 90f here in Vermont
  18. Thanks for bringing this back up. Things are better for sure. For one my practice draws were in the 1.5 range and now I have managed some sub-second draws. Not GM by any means, but it feels like a big improvement for me. I have been doing some drills to boost my confidence running and gunning. I know now how to move fast with a gun safely, but just lack of time doing it has me a little timid on tight courses. I knew for sure I was getting faster when at the last match ROs were complIning(in good fun) about who was going to have to keep up with me on the bigger courses. That made me feel pretty good.
  19. Wait a min, my elevator is going the wrong way Congrats to all the guys that made it this month!
  20. Next question. How do I prove my rig is legal when a RO tries to bump me to open? I am only a freshman in this sport and don't know the proper course of action for this situation.
  21. Just got one too. My rig is good to go as well.
  22. Maybe Production should be about the gun and not the allied equipment? Leave all the silly "everyday" rules to SS because its a legacy class? Lots of people seem to think that Production is for noobs with stock guns, I feel that its just as much a full race division as LTD. Maybe it was never intended to be an arms race, but its to late. The rules let you double the cost of a Glock pretty easy. Whoa, lil rant there, I'll stop.
  23. So someone out there could think the Ghost and my O.P.P.H. would give a competitive advantage over the widely accepted BladeTech. Most BladeTechs I have seen don't pass the 2" rule like mine(and Ghost) does, but nobody seems to care becasue "everone" in Production uses them.
