Off topic, but... Growing up we had propane bbqs. Now we have charcoal....will never go back to propane.

On some nights I'll cook without meat, just to have a small break from it. But in NO WAY could I ever be vegetarian! Big fat juicy hamburger grilled with a slightly grilled bun, with all the toppings..... Or a filet mignon cooked just perfect, so tender you can almost cut it with a spoon & melts in your mouth..... Beef lasagna, homemade just the way mom makes it.... Who could give that stuff up?

Thats what I did (although I hadn't been shooting that long when I switched). Right handed, left eye dominant, shooting lefty. One good thing is that your reloads will (or should) be sweet with your dominant hand doing the mag change!!

Yay, you got the 5! I have the Otterbox "Defender" for mine...ya, I'll be the first who likes the brand. I had an Otterbox for my last smartphone & decided to get another one. Yes, it's a little bulky. I need mine with the holster (for work), so it does add some bulk, but I'm not the type that needs super thin cases. Matt has the Magpul one & I do think its nice as well.

John is an awesome guy!! He is a great advocate for the firearm community in Canada (as you can tell from the video). Been to a few of the IPSC matches he's put on in the past & it was a fun time. NIce to see a video that's pro-gun & try to educate the people with "stereotypes".

It would've been nice if they had the side by side the whole race too. It's not like we aren't being exposed to a tonne of advertising!!!

Most of our shows we watch are recorded, to watch at our convenience (and pray we don't read any spoilers...argh!). But I do have to say that I have to watch sporting events live. If I know who wins, I won't end up watching it.

I just got the 5 Saturday & its awesome!! I left another brand for it, so no iPhone-iPhone upgrade. Get the 5. 5S or 6 will be out later on this year, so you'll only be back 1 model as opposed to 2

That made me laugh....in a sad (understanding) way. I've realized(yesterday) that sometimes being a good worker can get you shafted.

My condolences

My own flame as of lately... If you're going to be late for an appointment, CALL & LET THE BUSINESS KNOW! My job is by appointment & if someone's late it throws things off, a pain in the a$$, but I am more willing to work around it if the people call & let me know what's going on (things happen, I get it). But when you walk in like nothing is wrong & expect me to just "do it anyway", that gets me mad. And I don't own the shop to say "Late...well we have to re-schedule".

You don't want to know how much we pay for our smartphones! More than $30! It's insane, but I guess we're the idiots paying for it....
