I have a 36" and two 38" belts and I am a 34". They both work, but I like the 38" better. I have one for production, one for limited/limited 10, and one for multi-gun.
I have a first series colt woodsman match target. Bought it for $500 from a police officer whose dad killed himself with it. I have no problems with this whatsoever. A $2500 gun for $500......yeah I sleep just fine at night.
Nope. The DPMS mags are interchangeable with a SR-25 (Knight's) but not the AR-10. Yes, the latest "Gen 2" AR-10 mags are expensive but they are superb mags.

How is this done? Do you have pics? Will they also still work with the M1A? Thanks in advance.
You certainly do not need to give up a JP to compete with a piston gun.
My JP is absolutely reliable as long as I do my part and clean it. I was just asking because of the sponsorship possibility. I really hate to give up the JP, but not sure if the piston conversion will work with it.
Thanks for all the replies. I think I will test one and see if I like it. I really like my JP and hate to give up the accuracy, but the reliability might be worth it.
I agree totally. I dont want to shoot it for the sake of sponsorship if it is going to hinder me. I would rather not say the name of the upper until the details are worked out. Just getting some advice.
I just had a buddy have the same problem. I checked to see if his slide stop was installed correctly. What I saw was that his upper locking block pin was sheared in two. This may not explain why it is only happening to your buddy though.
The reason I ask is I have the opportunity to use one as a possible sponsorship and want to see if it would hinder me. I currently use a JP complete upper, RRA lower with a JP trigger. I didnt know if it would hinder my shooting or not. Thanks for the replies.
I also have the arredondo magwell. It is a nice piece of equipment, but I took it off and it also lies collecting dust in the parts bin. Hitting a rifle reload is much easier to me than the pistol.
