  1. I'm not smart enough for too much of the philosophy, but I like flex's post. You have to shoot the Middle to win right? So I practice looking at the Middle, but because the Middle is surrounded by so much "Not Middle" it is harder. I hide the "Not Middle" to practice seeing only the Middle, then when I have to shoot, I only see the Middle. /deactivate "Sesame Street" posting
  2. "The new Kel-Tec modular competition pistol... The Kel-Tec BAMF-9000. Using military-grade polymer and Unobtanium alloy, Kel-tec has once again revolutionized the firearms industry. With the plug-n-play modularity of the BAMF-9000, competitive shooters can now upgrade their pistols to their heart's desire without the need of a competent gunsmith. Available in any PhotoShop retail outlet."
  3. I smacked my front sight on the top of a port while shooting and snapped my fiber optic. Iron's are just easier.
  4. Depending on Chuck's overly complex style, captain chris might have to throw in a ninjy chop every once in a while too.
  5. it was the scone part that did it for me Lol, I forgot to mention Captain Crunch.
  6. I can see it now, the SuperHero lounge... everyone's got coffee and a scone... on the left is Captain America, in the middle is Captain Planet, and on the right is Captain Chris...
  7. Nice 5th post! I like the differentiation explained in Brian's response. I just shoot and learn by maintaining awarenesss and not trying. "Wins" are matches that I beat everyone at, "Losses" are matches that I'll beat everyone at next time.
  8. Dave Sevigny won 2006 Limited Nationals with a near-stock Glock 35. Rob Leatham has won more matches for more years than I've been alive, and he uses a Springfield Hi-cap (not a 2011). BBut if you gave either of those guys a 2011, they'd still win. And there are even more accounts of guys winning with 2011's. It's just the nature of the platform. It's so easily modifiable (which is good in open and limited) and parts/gunsmithing for them can be found everywhere. I agree with "It's the Indian, not the arrow," but I'll stick with my 2011 anyway.
  9. I used to play only Hardcore, but i realized that the easiest place to get a nuke was in Ground War or Demolition, simply because their are more people, and the game time is much longer. Killstreaks: 7-Harriers: awesome killstreak; it drops ordinance on enemy positions AND an Air-to-Ground Attack harrier lingers around for about a minute killing everything that moves. This gets me my chopper Gunner. 11-Chopper Gunner: Epic killing machine. Hardly anyone in Ground War/Demolition uses Cold-Blooded, so the chopper gunner sees everyone and flys around for a LONG time. It gives me usually 8-15 kills, giving me the nuke. 25-Nuke: Game-ender People use different stuff, but for me it comes down to 3 choices, depending on the map. Setup 1: For general purpose, works basically everywhere, simple and effective. I use this almost always. Gun: Scar Attachment: FMJ Secondary: None/One man army Equipment: Claymore Special grenade: Stun Perk 1: One Man Army Perk 2: Stopping Power Perk 3: Sitrep (or Ninja, either one works well) Just find a nice area, put down a couple claymores and hang out. You can instantly replenish all of your ammo, claymore, and grenades by using One man army, and choosing this class again (so you're not actually changing class). I use the scar because it's got a really high stats (damange, accuracy) and the iron sights are really functional, and FMJ is a big help. Setup 2: Noob-tubing, small-ish maps where enemies funnel into specific areas (such as Terminal). Gun: M-16A4 Attachment: Grenade Launcher Secondary: None/One Man Army Equipment: Claymore (you could use semtex though, i just like claymores) Special Grenade: Smoke Perk 1: One Man Army Perk 2: Danger Close Perk 3: Steady Aim I toss my smoke down a hallway, or anywhere I know enemies will be moving, and i just launch my 2 grenades there. Basically Rinse and Repeat using One Man Army until you have your nuke. It's probably the easiest and lamest ways to get a nuke, but it works. Setup 3: This one is only for Wasteland, or a long-range map for sniping. Gun: Barrett .50 Attachment: FMJ (Or Thermal, i go back and forth) Secondary: None/One Man Army Equipment: Claymore Special Grenade: Smoke Perk 1: One Man Army Perk 2: Stopping Power Perk 3: Steady Aim I use this as my super-camping/sniping setup for long-range maps. I literally will find a safe spot, plant my claymore behind me somewhere, and just watch a corner/hallway or any place with high enemy traffic. The smoke grenade helps with movement, because snipers slow your character down, and if you have to move, you need all the cover you can get. ETA: Killstreaks
  10. OK, but I want that chick on the front cover to come interview me in person. I don't think that's too much to ask. Nice!
  11. Nice, when I got my 10 I thought I would never put it back on for my kill streaks. I was getting bored last weekend so I put it back on an got 3 right away. Lol, now I can't even get harriers, and when I do get them someone will shoot them down right away. Edit because I can't spell today. Yeah, I know what you mean. I oftentimes just go with killstreaks 3-4-5 for the titles lol.
  12. whats your gamertag? I nuked last night again You rollin with the spinning Nuke emblem? Not yet, i think I'm at 8 of 10 until i get the emblem. I'm running the "End Of Line" Title though.
  13. Congrats Matt! *milk for me*
  14. Enjoyable tale of success. Gave me the warm 'n fuzzy feeling that a story this awesome deserves.

    Need Help

Lol. It's only really a problem when he's looking for a place to keep his horses...
  16. My $0.02: If you're willing to stick it out with the gear you have for a couple years or so, then I'd just make due with what you are using now and save some money. After a few years, when you have a better idea about what division you want to pursue, then buy a custom gun for that division and invest in the proper gear for it. Buy a Dillon 550 or 1050 (depending on your ammo consumption rate) and practice like crazy. When I started, I did it the other way around, buying a gun and switching divisions a lot, and it hurt my progress. If I'd have just saved my money, stuck with the first division I was shooting, then I could have invested the same custom limited gun that I have now a lot earlier. "Chipping away" at it now might only set you back from your real goal later on. And besides, whatever you think you want now will almost certainly have changed after a few years haha.
  17. Items: Tennis ball String Procedure: Tie the string to the tennis ball. Tie the string to a fan (but any where with enough room to swing the tennis ball will work i guess) and watch the tennisball swing around. It's boring/repetitive and a great eye-speed drill.
  18. Glad to see you're up and runnin' Benny. By the way, nice work on my slides, they're awesome.
  19. Far from over, whats your next goal?? Flyin Win High Junior at the World Shoot in Open Division
