In practice this week my 712 went full auto. Now when I drop the bolt the hammer follows. If I ease the bolt forward the hammer stays back but the trigger is dead. Didn't have time to crack it open yet. Anyone got any ideas? Keith

Took mine out this week. Deburred, cut two coils off the recoil spring and went to the range. Liked the federals better than Winchester bulk 3 dram stuff. Still 1 in 10 would hang up at 1 o'clock trying to get into the chamber. There's a sharp edge right there that I may break and see what happens. NC +4 tube and springs from Kirk on the way. I picked up some 980 fps AA's to try with the new springs Keith

That's just what I did with the DPMS 3g1. The comp is an old design but works. I put a scope on it and have been happy. I think I'm done fiddling and I have less than $1200 in it with the cheap but effective optic and mount included.

Found one on gunbroker. It's on the way! Now it's time to start getting parts together.

Is there any rule that says an individual must send a rifle overnight mail to a FFL in FL. My FFL says that is the case. That's going to be spendy. Anyone have a FFL near Orlando that's friendly to transfers from an individual?

Yeah .... It's a glock open gun. I really don't care if it gets wet, or scratched, or dirty, or if the mags fall into puddles because it's still a glock. I've just never shot the dot (cmore sts) in the rain and didn't know what to expect. I figured i'd learn from the collective experience here. Thanks guys. Doesn't sound like a real problem.

What typically happens? Does the comp blow fine water droplets onto the glass? Is it bad enough to wish you had irons instead? Just curious what others experience has been, match this week may be a bit wet and I've never done it before.

Always seems to take more powder for me to make PF than many on this board. I'm beginning to think it's my scale. Just took 9.5gr of HS-6 over 115 MGB JHP @ 1.145 to make 172PF in a open G17 with LWD barrel and Jäger comp. Seem a little high? Still less pressure signs than my WST minor load with 147's.

If you dryfire a lot the Agrip will eventually lose it's stickiness and begin moving around at the finger grooves and the top of the backstrap. Anywhere there's a lot of pressure in your grip. It also adds a little to the bulky feel. It does feel nice though.

Check into the sjc kit as well. I run the jäger and it barely cycles with factory ammo and a 10lb spring. Keith
