  1. CDP Expert You know what they say about trying right? There should be some pretty good competition in all divisions and classes.
  2. (points - penalties) / time = hit-factor for every competitor the highest hit-factor wins the stage and gets 100% of the stage points you then take your hit-factor diveded by highest hit factor to get percentage and multiple by stage points to get your stage points. Example: Stage has 10 IPSC targets, 100 points possible Shooter A - 100 Points / 10 seconds = 10 HF Shooter B - 90 points / 12 seconds = 7.5 HF Shooter A wins stage and gets 100 points Shooter B is 7.5/10 = .75 = 75% = 75 stage points This is done for each division, for each stage, then add them all up. Hit-factor and stage points are usually carried out to 4 decimal places

    Funny 911 Calls

I want my dollar or my taco! B$h!
  4. I've ordered from topglock, glockmeister, cwpsa, mle, cgr, lone wolf, shooters connection and speed shooters int. Never had a problem with any of them. As far as magwells, I have the dawson ice on my limited setup, but am liking the sjc magwell on my open gun better.
  5. 35+, um...enhanced, or girlwholikesgirls? which one did u get rid of?
  6. did you search topglock.com?
  7. I once saw an open shooters comp fly off! It was a home-made open glock pistol with the compensator just attached with set screws. Then afterwards the guy is looking for the comp to see if it was still useable. Not. Luckily, nobody was injured.
  8. I have tried the Heinie and WTS Sevigny comp. sights. I like the Sevigny sights better with the plain rear sight, no serrations.
  9. Your 85 run, how many points down total where you? Time and how many points down per stage?
  10. The 3rd stage is where its at. Well, you need to shoot the first two clean to give yourself the necessary time for the third. Practice at 20 yards shooting from barricades and you can do it. Get your hits -1s or better.

    Fall 2007

We got some snow over the passes, but it's not stickin' yet (to the roads anyways). Head south like the birds do!
  12. If it doesn't have the strong mount and bullet tray, get them. If you are going to load 45s and 9s, I would get an extra primer assembly and toolhead (if not another press) so you can change from small to large primers without having to adjust primer assembly everytime you switch. I don't think you can add a case feeder to SDB since it uses proprietary non-threaded dillon dies. Other than that I just have extra toolheads for other calibers so I can just switch shellplate, change toolhead with dies set and adjust my powder measure, I'm good to go.
  13. There is no box for L-10 division. I also do not see any advantage to shooting a Sig single stack, barrel less than 5", mag holds 8 rounds, internal extractor, firing pin block, trigger disconnector, just wasn't designed by Mr. Browning.
  14. Try taking a look at http://www.gotapex.com they usually have deals/coupons that take you to other major manufacturers.
  15. Double action. DAO and Safety action are allowed in SSP. For selective action, gun must be hammer down, double action first pull. You can shoot in ESP with gun in single action, saftey on if you want also.
  16. Take a look at this topic, some background regarding major vs. minor. I think everybody was scored the same until the started to load .38 supers and other 9mm variants up to major power factors. Then guns started to blow up so they said .40 is the minimum caliber to make major in limited, then shortly when better powders became available, the rules allowed allowed 9mm/38s to make major only in open division. My guess is production division is scored minor to allow a level playing field for those who buy factory 9mm ammo to compete. Click Here - Maj/Min
  17. There is no maximum handgun or magazine size for L10 under USPSA rules. No box, run as big a mag you want, but you can only load 10 rounds.
  18. Yes, depends on what type of sights you have. Worst case, you may have to grind down the front of the basepad to fit the box, but not that much.
  19. Looks like he was "round dumping" - I kid, I kid!
  20. Achy Breaky Heart- Billy Ray Cyrus ...and he also brought back the mullet (if it ever left)!
  21. Mitch, Try upping the charge just a bit, up to maybe 172 pf or so. I run HS-7, and it is leaves a lot of unburned powder at 168, burns pretty clean at 170+. Some kind of load density thing. Whatever you are running now seems to be working--congrats on the Open win at the Oregon Glock Championship match. Ya got me by almost 1 1/4 points! Bill Thanks. It was a fun match (even in the rain). I will try bumping the charge a little bit and see if that helps with the burning.
  22. My friend who also loads Silhoutte does not have that problem, but he is using Small rifle primers. I might give it another shot and see if hotter primer burns the powder better.
  23. Try to Right-Click on link > Save as... I also got video plug-in fail to initialize, but plays fine if you download it and play it in quicktime
