What happens if I dont remove the crimp with the Dillon Swag? g10

I have a few questions about reloading 223. Ive loaded alot of rifle and thousands of pistol, but never 223. 1st. How do I tell if I have crimped in primers? I am thinking about buying the Dillon super swage for them, but cant tell if they are crimped. Most of my brass is commerical and lake city brass. Once the crimp is removed do I have to crimp them? Whats the best or cheapest powder for 223? Im just looking for some plinking stuff for my AR nothing fancy. I see Ramshot TAC is around 95 a keg. Thanks in advance g10

I have a question reguarding the new 8 round mags from Wilson combat. Will these mags clear a 1911 with a mag well? I am going to be using my Kimber Tactical for single stack and would like to try these out, but dont want to dump a bunch of cash into them if they wont work. Thanks g10

When I was shooting my Glock 35 in production I was running 3.0 grains of alliant reddot with a 180 grain slug. I got around 130-131 power factor and recoil was next to nothing. I would assume the shoter barrel on the M&P would put right at 125-127 PW. g10

I am not sure wether or not Master Blasters is going to keep making bullets as I have not heard from them for a few days now. I am looking for some good cast bullets now. I had always bought Bushwacker bullets from Powder Valley as they are about 40 miles away from me but there 180's for 40 are now 63/1000. Any place cheaper than that with reasonable shipping? g10

Try 4.4 grains and that should get your to around 930 or so which will just make PF and then some. What are you shooting your XD 40 in, Production or L10 or Limited? g10
