Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I just shot the PRS match at CORE Shooting Solutions. It was a gas gun only match and had a "Tactical" division for .308 and .223. This was an awesome match and based on the response I wouldn't be surprised if more gas guns weren't seen in the near future. Jump in the game with what you have. Great people and great matches to be enjoyed now while you decide the gun of your future.
  2. The Ro's whooped up on setting stages today. My hat is off to anyone who volunteers to help with a match like this. I hope everyone has a safe match and safe travels to get here. We are looking forward to showing everyone a good time.
  3. The Gander Mountains, Cabelas, and Fleet Farms would all welcome your business but I have to say Arnzen Arms are good people that will do their best to provide anything you might need. And it saved you the running around when you need to be planning your stages. Trust me, you are going to want to spend a little time walking the stages. When I ask Jomar what the stages will be like, he just grins. Kind of scarry.
  4. Being over 55 makes my eyes focus different than both of my sons. Their scope reticle is a blur to me and mine is to them as well.
  5. Definately go with the new handguard you will love the feel. I am also a huge fan of the heat sink. Well worth the little added weight and expense. I am also running the new roller trigger and have no regrets.
  6. You didn't mention if your handgun was loaded, unloaded, or magazine inserted but empty chamber. Most matches I have been too require the handgun to not have a round chambered if the stage requires using a long gun prior to shooting the pistol.
  7. I didn't think much of it at first but after playing with one for a while I am putting one in my next build from JP.
  8. I live out in the country and have no Internet access. If I have a Google Chrome computer that has no software on it. If I have a large external hard drive can I download sketchup onto the hard drive and still design stages while not having Internet access?
  9. I was there last year in my RV for four days. Not a problem. Dump site just a few miles down the road if needed. You can hike to the stages but a cat would be nice.
  10. I have tried both and I run the Nordic tube. Both are great units but the Nordic won out due to the ease in changing tube length.
  11. I love my Luth stock. I run the high LaRue scope mount and the adjustable cheek piece works very well. Adjustable butt stock is nice for different size shooters plus the light weight keeps my rifle balanced. I have run it all year with no problems at all. I expected it to be a good stock but it exceeds my expectations in every way. I can not compare to the Tacmod stock but I like it better than my UBR and PRS.
