I just picked up a bunch of Bayou 9mm 124 gr flat point bullets and I'm curious if anyone could share what OAL they are using for these bullets / load?

thanks.

Same as stated before.

Chamber check with a dummy round

Check that they fit in your mag

Suggest at least 8-10 in your mag, before you load a bunch of them

I'm at 1.125 to 1.150

Thanks for the info. I played around with it a bit... Did the plunk test and 1.100" seems to work great in my Sig.

It depends on the gun. CZs have super short chambers. So that's what you check. My early M&P 9L came with mags that won't take a cartridge past around 1.140 or so - I forget the exact number. The magazines don't have enough front-to-rear length inside and the rounds would jam into place.

I was loading 1.150 when I shot a G34 in SSP & Production. When I switched to the M&P I had to shorten things to 1.120... which is now what virtually all of my 9mm is loaded at.
