MemphisMechanic Posted March 7, 2016 Share Posted March 7, 2016 (edited) It depends on the gun. CZs have super short chambers. So that's what you check. My early M&P 9L came with mags that won't take a cartridge past around 1.140 or so - I forget the exact number. The magazines don't have enough front-to-rear length inside and the rounds would jam into place. I was loading 1.150 when I shot a G34 in SSP & Production. When I switched to the M&P I had to shorten things to 1.120... which is now what virtually all of my 9mm is loaded at.
