As some of you know, I just started shooting USPSA about 1 year ago. I attended two major matches last year, Area 4 and Gator Classic. Between the two I took a class from a guy named Todd Green called Aim Fast, Hit Fast. At Area 4 I had a horrible match and only had two stages out of 11 that I was proud of. At gator classic I won my class and was 6th overall out of ~48 Production shooters. The past few local matches have been 2nd Production but today I won. There were 18 shooters, mostly U but some B and C as well.

Anyway, just wanted to brag a bit if that's okay. I'm feeling pretty accomplished even though I have a long way to go.

Good Job J! You've definitely been working hard at it and it's starting to show. Keep at it, and remember, with a good game plan, even a Lowly C can beat a big name GM every once in awhile. ;-)

I place that up there with "one o' my proudest moments". :-)

Seeing "Dave S." below my name was nice.

Same thing happened to me last year. Somebody here said it best. A win is a win. Alot of the best shooters were not there but some where, and that day, at that match, I came out on top. It feels good, don't it?

Congratulations, good job, and keep up the good work.

It ain't braggin' when you show justifiable pride in your accomplishments...you've earned it!

Keep it up, brother, and make those Masters and GMs watch their backs :D

I won Production in Saturday's match. Would have been impressive if anyone else had been in the division!

Thanks guys. I was definitely fortunate that there weren't better shooters there. :roflol:

Ever improving. I noticed I probably could have won stage 2 also (I won stage 1, 3 & 4) if I had taken a different approach. Hindsight is 20/20 and all but I do have some points to improve upon once again. My reloads felt solid but I did still fumble a few. More to work on.

Any day you can see your name with a 100% next to it, is a good day.

True indeed. A win is a win...

Well done spankaveli.
