I say that because you can still SEE the fault lines and they are still bright orange on the stage you showed.... In Tulsa, it was hard to FIND the fault lines.... Better than that gerbel bedding crap. Yeah, ya guys done good! I do remember seeing Russel out there with a shovel trying to get some of the water to drain away on at least one of the bays. For those of you new guys following along who haven't been to PASA before and are thinking about shooting the Single Stack Nat's, it's really like maybe 2 or 3 bays on the upper half that don't have pea gravel. Nike land sharks are relatively cheap at about $30. I'm just saying it would be cheap insurance to bring along an extra pair. That's all. Down below, there is pea gravel in the bays, so mud and/or drainage isn't a problem down there. Whoever they got that pea gravel from did a really great job at sorting it for size. It is perfect as far as separating it from the brass. If I was gonna RO this year, I'd bring a transfer shovel, a kitty litter sifter pan, and several 5 gallon buckets to whore up the brass with. I have seen the pictures in Front Sight magazine of the past Nat's at Oklahoma. Floating mulch is NOT a good sign.

I think Ill gear up to shoot some idpa early this year. I honestly dont think the match will fill up. No prize table but every shooter does get a nice gift just for showing up. In the past they have received a Surefire flashlight the next year a really cool Kershaw knife and last year a really cool cleaning kit. Isn't that better then a prize table where you get a package of springs or some shock buffs. If I remember right Springfield gave away about 20 guns. Plus we are still the Nationals with the lowest entry fee.
Franklin D Wolverton
Plus... isn't it a jump from something like 12-14 stages to 18-20? Having said that... I'm glad the wife and I got on the list to work it... saved me 400 bucks. Best part though is that I'll get to see some damn good shooters shooting Browning's masterpiece.
