  1. I know this isn't supposed to happen but it did...So, If the pin is broken and comes out fully, and the captured sping comes out as well, how do you fix it?
  2. If you lost a mag at the match, we may have it. Send me a PM to identify it. If it's yours we would be happy to ship it to you.
  3. 9.5.5 ...Visible evidence...grease or crown. A tumbling bullet will look like a profile of a projectile and it will leave grease.
  4. The 2" rule does apply in SS division.
  5. "...from the inner most surface of the belt equipment (against the pants/body) to the closest point of the grip of the handgun and/or any reloading device." This rule is very simple if you're not trying to read other stuff into it. Both the handgun (in the holster) and mags/speedloaders (in their pouches) must be in compliance with the 2" rule. This does not mean that the reloading device is on the gun. It means that the mag or speedloader that is in it's pouch on your belt must be within 2" of the inner belt.
  6. Effective February 1, 2014 5.2.5 Where a Division specifies a maximum distance that a competitor’s handgun and equipment may extend away from a competitor’s belt, the measurement shall be taken in the following manner: — Perpendicular to the belt at the point of attachment to the belt — from the inner most surface of the belt equipment (against the pants/body) to the closest point of the grip of the handgun and/or any reloading device.
  7. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/stealth-cam/prod10580676.ip?searchTerm=wild%20game%20camera This is the one we have and it works well for us. Not expensive but it does the job.
  8. I have had my pistol rig in my carry-on numerous times on all different airlines with no issues. Good luck
  9. I thought it was awesome. I loved it!
  10. I had the exact same problem. I tried every 9mm, .38 Super mag available and still had the same issue. I am now using Wilson ETM 10 round 9mm mags with no problem but I had to do a bit of tweaking. I cut 3 coils (yes, 3) off of the mag springs. I also polished the heck out of the rail with the disconnector divot and keep it well lubed. Gun runs flawlessly now. Good luck

  12. plain cardboard cannot be a no-shoot...it must be a paper or steel target.
  13. When ROs score targets they will sometimes call hits on targets that are not directly infront of them making you think they are calling the one they happen to be standing near. He also may be calling targets that he already walked past and is waiting for the clip board RO to repeat the previous target back to him before he calls the next one. He may not have called any targets incorrectly, he just called them in a different order than you were looking at.
  14. I don't think we need any more level I exemptions in the rule book. Just my 2 cents.
  15. I would just get longer base pads for the shorter mags and make them all the same.
  16. get yourself a rosin shaker. You'll be happy you did. http://www.ithacasports.com/rosinpowder.html
  17. Hi Jensey If you are not reloading your own ammo the .40 and .45 are going to be very expensive to shoot. I am female and not real big either. I have shot a 9mm 1911 for years and I love it. If you look at the results of Single stack Nationals for the last 4 years the top female shooters are shooting minor...there is a reason for this. They can handle it better so they shoot better with it and they have more fun. Don't worry about shooting major or minor at this point. Just learn the game, be safe and have fun.
  18. Received my slot today. The slot has a sticker covering the original type stating "Match dates are incorrect! Should be May 8-11" The date on the letter that came with the slot says "the match dates are May 8-11, not the 7-10" shooting day choices are: All day Thursday, All day Friday or All day Saturday. Have the dates of the match been changed from the original posting? When is the revolver match?
  19. 6.2.5.1 However, if a competitor fails to satisfy the equipment or other requirements of a declared Division during a course of fire, the competitor will be placed in Open Division, if available, otherwise the competitor will shoot the match for no score.

  21. For anyone who hasn't seen this, you must take a look. It is fascinating. The nest is in Decorah, Iowa. 3 eggs, one of which hatched today. http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles
  22. I'll add another twist to this. Let's say I'm shooting Production with my CZ and I forget to chamber a round at make ready. The beep goes off and I have to rack the slide to chamber a round. Now my first shot is below 3#. Am I now in Open? The same goes for unloaded starts.
  23. Got home last night after being there for 6 days. This is the way we found to be the fastest by far. Good luck
  24. 10.2.4 A competitor who fails to comply with a mandatory reload will incur one procedural penalty for each shot fired after the point where the reload was required until a reload is performed. No need for it to be in the WSB
