A62335
How do you guys number your mags? I've tried sharpie markers and nail paint, but both come off rather easily. Looking for something that is permanent.

Here's a thread from not too long ago that I found: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...rking+magazines Search term was "marking magazines" I use a p-touch label maker. ~Mitch

A62335
thanks guys, I think I'll try to find a local shop that will engrave my mags for me.
Flatland Shooter
My tuned mags from Brazos are engraved with the number. To make things a little easier, I also put 1/2" plastic numbers on each base pad. These were purchased at the local Office Depot. So far, they have not come off and if they do, the Office Depot sheet has plenty of replacements. Bill

03k64
I put grip tape on the bottom of my mags then number the tape with a silver sharpie. It's held up really well so far.
DMS42
I've used a markers in various colors, but found that they rubbed off. Then I switched to a paint marker, but they rubbed off. So I dug out some old sticky numbers that were used on the computer tapes from when I was a computer operator. Those work the best and they were free since I got the numbers when we did away with the tapes and tape drives.
