SiG Lady
Yes, I was thinking of the 'Lizards as well. They're very cool.
-JQ-
G10 - lots of bite w/ great grip. Not something I would carry IWB. They are black but pics shine a bit. You might talk to VZ grips, too. http://www.vzgrips.com/grips.html Nice people to deal with and willing to work with you on variations.
Jeffrey Yao
Springfield uses grips from Mil-Tac. Check the following link for pictures... http://www.mil-tac.com/grip_patterns.htm
jasmap
The grips you saw on the Springfield guns were Larry Davidson's. I am sure Springfield may use some Mil-Tac but the show pieces from the custom shop at Springfield were using Larry's grips. UW Mitch
Larry Davidson is the man! I've got 'em on all my 1911s except one, that I've got Rob Simonich gunner grips that I got direct from Rob at a knife show. www.davidsonknives.com - shoot him an email, he'll get you set up! ~Mitch
Kyreb
Just bought the Mil-Tac grips at the NRA convention. They look great and have a really good feel. have yet to get out to the range with them though. Maybe this weekend.

ddj8052
The Mil-tac grips are Larry Davidson grips. Mil-tac worked out a deal with Larry to manufacture to his specs. Basically they have the ability to manufature a greater number of grips in more colors. So the Mil-Tac, Springfield, Wilson Combat etc are all Larry grips. He is the man. I have been using his grips since before they got so popular and they are still my favorite style of grips. All of my 1911's have them. 03k64
Gray and black Alumagrips. I ended up switching to VZs since I like thin grips.
