DJPoLo
Spent some time with Dave Dawson filming an instructional DVD for his new mag tuning kit. In typical Daswon style, he also wanted to show how NOT to tune a mag. These are the results. 50CalMagTuning.wmv NOTE: For some reason, the forum software will only recognize .avi files, so you will need to save the movie to your hard drive and remove the .avi extension so that the file is named "50CalMagTuning.wmv". -Chet Edited March 15, 2008 by DJPoLo

DJPoLo
Mag tuning kit? Anything you can tell us about what all is going to be included in the tuning kit? It's everything that you need to tune your mags the way Dawson Precision does 'em. You get: Spring Setting Bar EZ-Lap Diamond File Mag Feed-Lip Forming Tool (this is the biggie of the bunch) Mag Feed-Lip Spreading Tool Nylon-Tipped Punch (For non-Dawson Base Pads) Step-by-Step Instructional DVD from Dave Dawson It's gonna be the bomb and I can't wait to get my own. -Chet
DJPoLo
I assume this is the video on mag tuning I ordered back in December?? Probably. And well well worth the wait. It will save you hundreds of dollars in mag tuning cost and countless hours waiting for your tuned mags to come back from a gunsmith. After seeing how it's done, I am amazed what this small investment will save me. -Chet
joecichlid
I hate to thread drift here but how much is the kit going to sell for? I am VERY interested. Since I shoot indoors on a concrete floor I am always having to retune my mags and this would be a HUGE help. Joe W.

Front Man
I wish you wouldn't have done that! Now I want a 1050 and a bullet feeder! It's like if you had never seen High Def TV you wouldn't care. Damn my eyes for watching that! Reloading porno and I can't go back to my 550. Anyway, I want to see these as they come out, looks like they're going to be great! FM Edited March 27, 2008 by Front Man
