TimBoettcher
Actually looks good. It looks like a "Movie" gun!
HSMITH
WOW, looks cool but it would be HEAVY! I would bet it is 50 ounces, maybe more. The X-5 Comp does shoot extremely well though, very nice guns.

mloch
Hi, the gun above was made by Harry Beyer from the Sig Sauer custom shop (called "Mastershop"). Below you can see some pictures of my personal X-FIVE Open gun. These are older pictures and I try to post some newer ones. Recently I switched to a three port compensator, lowered the mount a bit and double-undercut the trigger guard. In contrast to the gun above my gun uses a shorter P226 slide instead of the 5" slide of the X-Five so you can call it a "shorty" ;-) Best regards, Marijan
Carlos
Great looking gun! And I bet it shoots very flat. In addition, I think I recall the X5 having a spring set up similar to the STI Recoil Master. Would be nice to see more brand competition in Open division - its in everyone's best interest. Thanks for the pics.

Flexmoney
It just screams to me to have the mount/sight lowered and to chop the back end of the mount off. Rock on.

mloch
Hello Marijan. How many rounds can you put in your standard guns ? Marc Hi Marc, unfortunately I can only stuff 15+1 rounds in my X-Five (.40 S&W of course). So I have to reload quite a bit. I have got one mag setup where I can start with 16+1 rounds but I´m not quite confident in it. When using my 9mm topend I get 20+1 rounds. If i use one X-5 for shooting in standard division, what's the best for you ? The .40 with a capacity less than STI or SVI and shooting major or shooting minor with the extra capacity ? Best regards Marc
mloch
Marc, as of now I would shoot the major caliber gun because it is quite difficult to overcome the point disadvantage due to the minor scoring. Especially when there are any moving targets or partials minor scoring while competing against others shooting major is disastrous. You are giving away too many points. But if it is a match with lots of open - easy - targets shoting minor is not such a handicap ... if you are shooting a ton of As. Take care, Marijan
