My rubber STI is supposed to be back from the 'smith in the next day or so....crisp 2lb trigger and all sorts of polishing and perfecting. New mags from Tripp and Wilson (sort of a comparison test) are on the way as is a new Comp-Tac belt feed. zhunter Posted December 27, 2007 Author Share Posted December 27, 2007 OK, things are looking up. I was finally able to grip my pistol today, although my thumb was heavily bandaged to do so. Not ready to shoot yet, not even close, maybe a few more days. Hope to head out to do some weak hand chrono'ing tomorrow. For the first time since I hurt the thumb, is is looking like I will get to shoot the WSSS!!! I doubt I will get any practice in tho, as I don't want to set the recovery process back. Any one else with a video recorder will be great to have as well, as it is hard to capture all the action. We will need someone that we can send the video to, to edit it into something more than just bit to bit video. Maybe some music background and all.
