underlug
I have tried emailing headquarters with no response. Is Icore going to use the new Bianchi target with the black center this year, or, retain the old target?
Pin Shooter
Good Question....let me call the rules director....
pskys2
I hope not. Besides with ICORE's predeliction to "Blacking" out large areas of scoring zone would make it a problem. But, then having an aiming point in accuracy shooting is quite an advantage and may actually fit nicely into ICORE's vision.

I have two predictions if they do 1, Someone will finally "zero" the standards stage (Mr. Hogue get your money ready) 2. It won't be me that does it

hopalong
Dave, Last time I checked ICORE was not a NRA sanctioned body.........meaning, ICORE chooses to use the D-1 and thus might decide NOT to use the new D-1. (but that is just my thinking) HOP
revoman
I think the Bianche Cup also uses the D-1.
Pin Shooter
OK guys....I have the official answer from one of the ICORE board members. ICORE will continue using the D1 as they always have. This year the Bianchi Cup will utilise the new targets, but ICORE will remain the same. pskys2
How long will the "old style" D1 be available if the Bianchi Cup & NRA Action don't use it? But ICORE may actually use more targets than Action Pistol.
cmzneb
GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) also uses the standard cardboard D-1 target.
haras
Why are they doing the black center anyway?
Northern Xtreme
Why are they doing the black center anyway? Well when they start building popularity and get to many shooters they need to do something to help keep the numbers down. So they change a few rules to see how many people they can make go away. pskys2
With the placements being decided by X's and TGO passing 1900, I think they had some "suggestions" that it's a bad thing to lose because you can't see the X ring. I thought that was part of the challenge, but hey what ever works.
