Which Charge Bar For 223?

Do you guys use the large charge bar or the smaller charge bar when loading for 223? I use the large bar (have loaded stick powder only) but was told that you have better accuracy with ball powder with the smaller bar. Thoughts?

I use the large powder bar, had to. My small charge bar would take max 24.5 of H335 (or 2230), and I wanted 25.5 to 26.0.

I only tried one, not sure how similar they all are...

What charge are you using with say a Winchester 55gr bullet using 2230c?

Dillon told me to use the large bar, whenever possible, as it would yield more consistent results.

In .223 use the large charge bar fer' sure unless you are loading poof loads ;-)

With win 55s Im using 26 grains of 2230c.-----Larry

I am using 26.5 grains of 2230C with 55 grain "pulled" military bullets. I mainly shoot 3-Gun and accuracy is very acceptable. These bullets are cheap!!! I get them from Pat's Reloading.
