gmshtr
I was also a bit surprised that Bruce Piatt wasn't on the list. I'm guessing that would put MB a bit heavy on the Action Pistol side of his invitee list, but Bruce has got some serious IPSC type skills, too. However, it would be interesting to see if Bruce could even make a gun off with a trigger heavier than 1.5lbs! Just kidding, Bruce...please don't hurt me. Your buddy...really! JerryDGeek
Yup, I voted for Julie, too. The field needs some diversity, and I would love to see her matched directly against the men shooters. I would have voted for Travis Tomasie if he was on the list, though. Of course, I would have voted for ME if I was on the list. What? No Geeks in the line-up? You got something against Mediocre B-level shooters? Oh, right. Can't shoot, look goofy . . . these are probably good reasons. Okay, I go back to voting for Julie G. Pete would be so proud. spook
Man, this is a tough choice. So many good shooters. My first reaction would be Angus and JJ, but when I heard people suggest Travis, that seems like an obvious choice too. If you could get Brian to compete that would be the best ever, though! JFD
SG might already have plans for Travis, especially since they already have Max.

mark dye
I am really excited to see the outcome of this match. Hopefully, if it is succesful, we can have a "regular joe" version later on. I voted for Taran, though Phil would also be another great choice(probably would have voted for Bruce if he were on the list). Julie would be a lot more fun to watch though I originally picked a close match between Jerry M and TGO, too bad we won't see that one. I think shooters who are specialists and spend most of their time shooting within specific parameters will be handicapped (despite the fact that they are INCREDIBLE within their niche). Guys who shoot open guns 90% of the time and the lone cowboy (cowgirl) fall into this catergory. Guys who shoot a wide variety of guns and matches should be the ones to beat i.e. Jerry M and Koenig. At any rate, I hope that MB and crew will have a big hit, and that larger matches will follow! Mark Dye
shred
When McBane gets this thing going, I'd love to see a couple 'wildcard' spots wherein non-name shooters could compete somehow for a few luck-of-the-draw slots. Of course they'd probably need some minimum skill level in order to not get completely edited out..
XRe
I bet you could get TGO to respond if you give Phil TJ's slot and then get Phil to call TGO up and taunt him a little bit Voted for ya, Phil

Of course they'd probably need some minimum skill level in order to not get completely edited out.. I can think of a couple non-name shooters on whom I would bet to compete favorably against every name on both lists, given the multi-gun semi-surprise format of this match. Except one--I would never ever bet against Miculek at a match like this.

MBaneACP
Looks like we just rounded the third corner and Brother Angus is solidly in the lead! Angus, when I was in the CZ museum in the Czech Republic, I saw that CZ once made a really nice little revolver...I'm betting that's as close as you've ever been to one!!!!
