How to sight in a C-More on a 90 degree mount

I tilt mine back to the original position so I understand which way adjustments are going. Then the usual process.

Heres how I do it upright or sideways mounted with the pistol held upright. When the screw driver turns clockwise, the POI moves to the direction where my hand holding the screw driver is. So if my hand is on top (or underneath in sideways mount) and i turn the driver clockwise the POI moves up (or down in 90deg mount) towards my hand. And away/opposite when I turn CC. Same with the windage, holding the driver on the right side of the pistol, turning clockwise the POI moves to the right, towards my hand. So it doesnt confuse me whether its upright mounted or 90deg. My reference is always my hand holding the driver.  Hth.

I struggled a bit on this myself so several years ago I made a laminated instruction sheet I carry in my equipment bag.

 

I have attached it.

We might have broken  the adjustments on the first 90degree slideridge we got.  The moment I saw a piece fall out I realized neither one of us took into account the 90degree.... *sigh*
