1911 parts site?

Thinking about building a 1911 just playing around with the idea right now. Anybody got a website they like. 
comparable to how Brazos site is for 2011 parts with fitted and unfitted frames/slides?

I’ve wanted to try one of these short blocks for a while. Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I’ve been thinking about getting the 10mm and fitting a .40 barrel, but a 9mm would be great too.

Agreed, for A complete gun top to bottom from a place with quality parts of every kind for the 1911 - from what I've seen, fusion is the top dog. With the acquisition of their in house machining equip they are primed to really take off. Get in while their A steal b4 they start to price gouge based on rep.

You can buy an excellent 1911 short block from Warwick Tactical.  As far as parts, EGW, Extreme Engineering and other.  I prefer EGW parts even though they take a tad more fitting than others.  Their ignition kit is literally drop in if your holes are in the right places.

 

You can also buy unfitted slides, frames and parts from Warwick Tactical.

I have a list of bookmarks as long as your arm.  Google 1911 parts and you'll find them all.  Start with a good quality frame, slide and barrel and the rest will be much easier.

I bought a fitted slide to frame kit from Fusion. I also had them fit the barrel. Then I learned my lesson to buy quality parts. I went with all EGW small parts after having issue's with Ed Brown parts.
