The how to practice DVD is an excellent reference. It covers alot of thing to practice, how to practice them, and why you should pracctive them. Also included on the DVD are stages you can print out and keep copy of your practice for comparison. I looked an found nothing on the market that comapred to this DVD.

At the risk of incurring his wrath :) I think the How To Practice DVD has benefited me more than any of the others.

My 2cents worth.

How to Practice ***IS*** Matt's best video to date without a doubt both in terms of content and production-wise. Matt keeps learning about video production and they Speilberg will be callling soon. Okay, maybe not Speilberg...maybe Tarantino.

It does build on the earlier volumes though so it is best to watch those first...at least Vol 1 - 3.

Then clear your calendar and load a BUNCH of ammo because this DVD will inspire you to practice like never before.

Regrettably, life and work decended on me a couple weeks after this one arrived this summer. I found it so frustrating to watch and not be able to get to the range to practice that I put it away for awhile. But now I have time to practice again (if the weather cooperates) so I will be dusting it off tomorrow and hoping to get in some range time on Saturday.

The awesome movement drill he discusses at the end with a whole bunch of boxes and steel plates is a real kick in the butt both physically and mentally. I was able to set this up and run through it once before work ruined the rest of my summer and before I knew it 250 pieces of brass were scattered all over the bay and I was totally exhausted. But my confidence in shooting while moving had lept up a couple dozen notches.

Well, I just got Matt's How to Practice DVD. I must say it is OUTSTANDING!

This is a must have DVD!

Seriously, this DVD is should be in every shooter's Christmas Stocking on Christmas day. It is well worth the investment. It has more information than I thought possible.

The production quality of the DVD far exceeds his others. If he ever gives up shooting, he should to into DVD prodcution.

Well Done Matt.

Yeah, sure...why not. He already has the porno sound tracks going.

Actually, the Vol 7 sound track was a lot less "porno" than Vol 1 - 3 were. I fired off Vol 1 on the computer DVD player when I first got it and the wife almost immediately appeared at the den door inquiring what porno flick I was watching.

But like Matt says, there isn't that much music in the public domain that isn't "porno sound track" like.

Maybe one of the shooter musicians can help him and lay down some super cool tracks with an IPSC theme....timers, gunshots, steel clangs, etc.

I got this dvd and IPSC secrets. Love them both. IPSC secrets has really helped me form a game plan on how to attack a stage and think of whats "practical" for me!!! Love them BOTH  Oh and got Brians book too lol Can't beat the deals he has right now :roflol:

Must be great minds working in the same direction. Just got the same (plus some slideglide) three items and have already gotten benefit from them in a match. Also has brought more purpose into my practice which will help in the long run. Besides being helpful the IPSC video was very entertaining. With winter coming in Minnesota am glad I have resources like this.

ive had most of Matt video series and agree they are great. just picked up a couple more "how to shoot faster" and his AR-15 video. all are terrific in both training information and motivation. ill be done dryfiting for the day, then put one of the videos in and it makes me want to get gear back up again. Ive dryfired along with with the videos too (basically pretend that Im Kevin, haha). seemed to help things sink in with me early on.
