Prange
For the people that have and/or had a P226 Legion, would you buy one again? Edited November 15, 2020 by Prange
rowdyb
Over the regular 226, definitely.
NOSHMJ
I have it in SAO. The gun is just a machine. I have 3 slides for it, 9, .40, and a 9mm slide with romeo on it. All 3 slides run perfect, and the gun is a tack driver.
Posvar
I shot one of these in SAO last fall and it was amazing. Tried to get it from my brother in law and he didn't budge. Accurate, soft shooting, great quality, etc. Having owned several regular 226 this is ten times better than those.
kdawg
Make a list of the additional features and see if it's worth it for you. As for myself? I felt the Stainless Elite met my needs/desires better.

Funny you say that, as I was discussing this with a friend of mine, a Stainless Elite popped up and I wound up grabbing it for less than a Legion. I like the SAO trigger better, but I like the weight of the SSE. Thanks for the input, Gentlemen. It's much appreciated.
Cliveb
I had a P226 SL - could never get used to it and sold it off and was happy to see the back of it. Soured me to SIGs - until I tried a P226 legion of one of my range students - the difference is remarkable. A completely different animal. If you like the P226 platform, absolutely go for the Legion model.
Foxtrotx1
Do you guys feel the SAO is worth it over the DA for someone who has no qualms with DA guns and shoots a shadow 2 with no issues? I shoot 1911's and I'm torn.
Qoholeth
I have both and the SAO is way easier to make a single hole. So yes!!! But I wouldn’t sell my DA/SA either,
