Hi-Power Jack
Walked my 19 year old Kel-Tec P-11 into their factory in Cocoa, FL, yesterday and walked out with an almost brand new P-13 After being carried in my pocket for 19 years, it was time to recondition the old duty gun. Didn't go bang every time, any more. The gunsmith : updated the trigger assembly and trigger bar replaced the slide stop/spring; extractor/spring; firing pin assembly, recoil springs and barrel polished the feed ramp installed a belt clip (that I purchased there for $12). Walked the gun in at 9:00 a.m. and they called me at 10:30 a.m. that the gun was ready. It had been test fired. How did I get a P-13 out of a P-11 ? Bought a new 12-round mag, which is the same size as the old 10-round magazine. So, in 90 minutes, I got a new P-13 … The staggering price ? $40 for the new mag and belt clip - no charge for rebuilding my P-11. If you have an old Kel-Tec, send it in - very nice lady behind the counter who explained that all Kel-Tec's employees are Very Nice to customers because Kel-Tec is so good to them. And, the gunsmith came out so I could thank her for all the work she did on my P-11. She said I was the first person to ever thank her for her magic touch. Looks like Christmas has come a little early to Davenport, FL
EEH
Just goes to show any company can have great service.
Tampa-XD45
I'm glad your experience was positive. Me and various friends have had the total opposite experience with their service. KTOG is filled with reports of bad service. Maybe they're getting better.
mike94yj
Had an issue with my PF9. Troubleshot over the phone and had the new improved extractor in days.
Hi-Power Jack
Just got back from the range … tested the P-13. First, I couldn't get 12 rounds in the mag - guess I'll let it "set in" a few more days, and try the 12th round next week. 2nd, the gun wouldn't strip the first round off the new mag into the chamber. 3rd, got to the range and fired one shot, which FTF. OH BOY !!! What am I in for, here ? Then I ran a box of Remington 115 gr FMJ's green box ammo thru the gun, with the old mag and the new mag, and PERFECT Despite a bumpy start, everything smoothed out - happy now. Will run few more boxes of ammo thru it in next few weeks.

zombywoof
I have an early P11. The slide to frame fit loosened up over time. I called and talked to the P11 technician. He had me send the pistol in. It came back with a new frame, slide and springs. No cost. Great service.
