muncie21
Seems the big online dealers have this powder back in stock. I'm going to pick up 10 or 20 pounds, if a sale pops up in the next month or so. If not, the everyday price is still very reasonable.

Flatland Shooter
Any vendors carry it in containers larger than 1 pound?
StratRider
I've had some for a while and started using it full time after my N320 ran out. I have to say that the last time I cleaned my gun after a few matches it was quite a bit cleaner than before. Not thrilled with the granular composition of the stuff but I am happy with everything else about it.

vnboileau
When I couldn't find Prima V, I bought HP38 and Sport Pistol. Any reason to still try Prima V?

Any reason to still try Prima V? 125gr Black Bullet Int’l 1.112”-1.120” OAL variation 3.85gr Prima V (10 drop average) CCI 550 S.P. Magnum primer Walther Q5 Match 65 degrees 10 rounds over the Chrono: 1111, 1112, 1115, 1112, 1114, 1111, 1116, 1113, 1112, 1113 Average: 1112.9 Standard Deviation: 1.66 Power Factor: 139.1 (They went 132.7 PF through a 4.25” M&P) I stagger-loaded a magazine with this load and a 3.0 titegroup/147 BBI load and could not feel the difference in muzzle rise or recoil impulse using the Walther.) Let’s just say that PV really like being loaded for 9mm minor. Edited April 18, 2018 by MemphisMechanic
BritinUSA
What batch number of Prima V? There was a increase in velocity in 2017 when they changed batch numbers.

Standard deviation while not as good as yours was around 5 fps. I just switched from my 147 grain load because this one is just as soft but the sights track better. As far as I can tell prima v is basically the perfect 9mm minor powder: it's cheap, meters consistently, relatively clean, soft, with good accuracy. What more could you want.Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Good point: I have the oldest fastest batch.

As soon as I tried a 125gr load I was done shooting 147s. Even in the lighter Walther Q5 there really, really isn’t much difference. I like the speedier recoil & recovery of 125 load. And I already mentioned: a 139PF Prima V 125 vs a 132PF Titegroupv147? The recoil force feels identical. motosapiens
whatever you do, don't switch to prima SV like I did. (because I don't want it to be out of stock when I run out of the 35 lbs I bought last fall). pretty similar, but cleaner.
