himurax13
Since many folks have decided to gravitate to the Shadow 2 and Carry Optics, I decided to go a different route. Here is my CZ75 CTS LP Carry Optics project. It took about three months to get the milling done, the parts all gathered, and the final fitting completed. It has my usual smooth sub 5lb DA and Sub 2 lb SA pulls. The Delta Point Pro with the optional rear sight is amazing. I honestly did not care for the Trijicon RMR due to the blue tint and the smaller window. I plan on using it for USPSA and IDPA Carry Optics Division. Oddly enough the weight and feel is almost identical to my production gun. Here are some pics of her and her sisters. eerw
Nicely done. I like this setup better than the S2 configuration. But I'm probably in the minority for that.

BadShot
Very nicely done. Who did the milling for the optics? How did you get the trigger pull down to 2lb/5lb, if you don't mind me asking?

Kneelingatlas has a walkthrough somewhere. I prefer not to use a dremel. Edited March 15, 2018 by himurax13

BadShot
Thanks guys. That is exactly what I am looking for. I have CZC SP-01 Shadow that I just bought and is at CZ Custom for the red dot sight milling. I would like to pick up a stock one and tune it up myself, just for a retirement project. I'm new to CZ's, so I have a lot to learn.

38superfan
Ha! Well I obviously saw the rollmark on the slides. Just wasn't sure if the top ends were available separately or not. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

gsc0tt
I have always been curious about these, have you compared the next to a standard slide, i was wondering how all the added weight in the slide alone would feel

The extra sight radius and less muzzle lift are a huge bonus. Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
DesertTortoise
Why a long slide for carry optics? I've been wondering if something with a full frame and compact slide would be good... I haven't shot carry optics yet so I don't the trade secrets

One can use less powder due to longer barrel which in turn results in less muzzle flip. The main reason is because nobody else is. That is what this setup is, a Shadow Tac 2 with a longer slide.
