  1. For me, who immediately thought of the Fry "Shut up and take my money" meme, I've always wanted a full rail 1911 in 9mm. For reasons. I could only get one custom ordered, and couldn't justify that. This is significantly easier for me to justify, even for a range toy, has better magazine capacity, and comes from a reputable and established company.

    S2 with SRO

I did. Repeatedly. The angle/perspective doesn’t show what I’m asking about.

    S2 with SRO

Looks great! Could you take a picture showering how low the optic is mounted, specifically the portion of the SRO that sticks out in front?
  4. Does this imply that it will be? Because that's what I have the oddest desire for. Preferably with an ACRO.
  5. Second. ATEi has done some amazing work. Also an incredible trigger job.
  6. Hi all, I'm trying to understand how the 92 works. As I get it, under recoil, the barrel and the slide begin moving backwards. The plunger depresses the locking block, which then disengages the barrel from the slide. The slide continues moving rearward, extracting the shell, ejecting it, then slides forward, stripping and loading a new round. Assuming I have that right, what keeps the barrel "back" after the locking block disengages? Is there a spring or some such?
  7. Update: great success! Except getting that fraking spring back in.
  8. Ordered from IPSC Store. Now just waiting for the post from Estonia.
  9. That's my only find thus far. Although I'm going to call CZ USA on Tuesday and see what they say.
  10. I'm cursed with stubby thumbs and a concern over sunk costs. Assuming I could source one, would a Shadow 2 mag release work in an Accu-Shadow? Anyone with both who could compare?
  11. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of that DPP on the CZs? I'm getting ready to send one off, and was curious what L&M's work looked like. Did it have bosses or pins of any kind, and did the BUIS fit?
  12. The they still got a couple months.
  13. Is that what you did? Looking for a photo of such work.
  14. What is the direction to remove a rear sight? And can anyone recommend a sight pusher?
  15. So I've got an Accu Shadow with the match barrel. The barrel seems a little too long for my Blade Tech. Any advice on how to modify the Blade Tech, or an alternative? Thanks!
  16. Thanks for the update. Were you able to ask about parts interchangeablity with the Shadow, and any possibility of an optics-ready model?
  17. So you're the one with all the slides?
  18. Where? I'd like one.
  19. Aforementioned question about the mag release. Any plans for an optics ready model?
  20. I was wondering if that fancy mag release would be interchangeable.
  21. My understanding is the slide is too narrow. You would need to have a base fabricated and mounted, kind of like this one for 1911's. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/images/images2500x2500/trijicon_ca428_c_600759_1911_rmr_mount_with_1062096.jpg
  22. Do you have any more pics of the SP01 with DP Pro you did? FF III is a very solid optic. I posted this on another forum when asked about my opinions on popular reflex sights as we mill slides and handle dozens of them daily.FF III. - Best out there for the money. Simply can't be touched for ~$250-$275. Most last many thousands of rounds +. If yours happens to die, Burris has no problem replacing them, no questions asked. DP Gen 1 - Solid optic, be careful with the tiny torx screws stripping as it is a very common issue. DP Pro - TANKS. The most solid optic I've personally had in hand and used by far. They haven't been out long, but I have heard of only one customer of ours having an issue with one out of probably about 30-40ish or so we've milled so far since they've been out. RMR - I have nothing specifically against them, other than people have the misconception that since they're made by Trijicon, they're gods gift to reflex sights. And that's just wrong. They fail as much (more in our experience from reports) than the rest. Maybe it's just that they're more popular so naturally we will hear of them failing more, I don't know. Various C-More's - Same stuff you hear from everyone. Hit and miss. Some seem to be unkillable, some crap out quickly. The rest out there, we haven't milled very many, nor do I have a lot of experience with them to comment.
