MikieM
If it isn't one thing, it's two. As you know my Stock II hammer falls to half-cock when I squeeze the trigger hard, and then thumb the safety off. That one's on me though and fitting a new safety should fix it right up. But here's a new one. I was at the range an hour ago shooting plates, when I noticed that the slide would fall when I inserted a new magazine. Not gently, you understand, but when I slammed it home with a bit of force the slide would drop. Any opinions? Thanks, Mike

If so, that's a desired feature and many have to file their slide stop to make that happen. Congratulations for getting it for free.
Astocks2622
That's fairly common with many different semi auto handguns. Some do it, some don'tSent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
MemphisMechanic
How to make this happen without slamming the magazine in as hard:
MissionaryMike
This happens with my Stock 2. Happened in my Accu Shadow as well. Nothing to be concerned about. Already mentioned above, people desire this trait.
MikieM
Well, that's a load off. Thanks for the good news.
zombywoof
Yea, you want that. I can't reach the slide release. It's faster to slam the mag.
MemphisMechanic
You can't reach? Try being a left handed Tanfo shooter... Auto Forward definitely is a mandatory feature. Edited June 1, 2017 by MemphisMechanic
goshimu
My stock 2 xtreme does this. I never use the slide release. Lol.
johnbu
Some do it easier than others. Most folks (in competition) want it to occur.

Never. Well, almost never. I think my new safety comes in tomorrow.
