Chris Keen

Recommended Posts

Just got home from Tuesday night league at Sim-Trainer and finnaly scratched that little "itch" that has been buggin' me for about a month now.

I slapped a little paint on the old "Glockenstein" and figured now I have to rename her something more like "GlockenHalen" :P:P:P

Whatdaya all think ???

Ill get more pics later, when I'm done

Glock24shooter, if you like that kind of paint scheme you need a nice blade to go along with that. Check out the Dalton series of knives. They use similar patterns for the scales (handles) on many of their knives.

Check out their big ass assasin: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/km4yk/redass1.jpg

The battledragon is also a sweetheart:

Hope that the links work.

LOL...I started to clean my Open Glock up for some paint work too.  Weird timing.

BTW...nice brass marker.  :)

Yea but your Open Glock is just a kid, call me when it grows up into a .40 :P:lol:

JK. Thanks Flex. The brass marker is homemade, but the idea is really Nolan Smyth's.

And thanks for the .40 rounds Sunday. They were all Alphas, but I had a couple of brain farts shooting Limited for the first time (where's my BIG stick  !)

But it sure was fun B)

Didnt know I could hit steel at 20 yards with iron sights

So does anybody know if I should try and use some sort of "clear coat" spray to keep the paint from scratching off, or peeling/fading/getting dirty ???

I used Permanant Artists Acrylic to paint with, and I scrubbed the gun down pretty good beforehand with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol.

Hmmmmmmmm.............

I will try and let it dry at least 24-48 hours before handling it, but it's Soooooo hard! I'm just a big kid when it comes to new toys!

I have done all my own work. The barrel & comp are both from KKM, and are drop-in parts. I had a friend of mine drill the ports in the barrel.

Nothing on this gun has ever required me to "send it out".
