Shadyscott999
Anyone know what size it is? Manual says 15/16" but its not. Not 1" either. I need to get a wrench dedicated for this.

jmorris
Not there to measure one of mine but 15/16" socket is what one would use on a 5/8" bolt 11 or 18 threads per inch. Edited July 17, 2016 by jmorris

jmorris
Apparently I have a mis-marked 15/16 socket. Bought another one and it is fine. Who woulda thunk.A long time ago I was involved with building Mini Baja cars for the SAE competition and one of the engineers had to remove/install something and because it was a 3/8" bolt I told him he needed a 9/16" wrench. He went to the tool box came back over, fiddled around with it and said, "you were wrong, 9/16 was too small it's 1/2" He looked puzzle when I then asked him which of the two fractions were larger? And don't worry I didn't just steal it, well not for more than 24 hours, I replaced it the next day with a properly marked wrench. Keep it as a reminder to not automatically believe everything you see when common sense indicates otherwise.
