wiiawiwb
I've gone through about 4,000 Missouri bullets and have been pleased although I have used no other coated bullets to compare them to. Does Blue, Bayou, Eggleston, SNS, Acme, or any other company make a better coated bullet or is it a case of vanilla vs. chocolate vs. strawberry? Kletus
I've tried Blue Bullets, Black Bullets, Acme, SNS, and Bayou. I find the Blues to be slightly faster for a given powder charge, and slightly more accurate across all my guns. The difference between the others is pretty negligible other than differences in bullet profile. I would shoot any of them over plated based on cost and accuracy. My personal order of preference is Blue, Bayou, Acme/SNS, then Black. With that said, I would shoot any of them if the price is right.
rishii
Saw in the lastest American Rifleman that federal is now selling American eagle ammo with a coated bullet their calling it syntech coating which looks awfully like a hitech coated bullet
moonman16
I saw the ad in the American Rifleman for American Eagle coated projectiles. More and more folks are jumping onto the COATED PROJECTILE BAND WAGON. I've been using HI-TEK coated for handguns for about 4 years, no complaints.
