Bouboy02
Hey guys I'm looking for a nice hard case that will fit two shadows and fit in the bottom of my DAA back pack. I'm looking for something that's pretty thin and won't take up the whole bottom section since I also put my ear pro and paster gun in there. Any input would be appreciated! Aircooled6racer
Hello: They make some Pelican style cigar boxes that are thin and air tight. Thanks, Eric

From the measurements I think it should fit in my bag. How are the latches on it pretty sturdy?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dansedgli
Yeah the latch is good. I had to file out the holes a bit to fit my padlocks but smaller locks would have fit fine. I use it when travelling because it's real thin compared to other options. Here is a photo compared to the standard STI box I got my lawman in. Dirtchevy841
Pelican makes some nice smaller pistol cases. Have one for when I travel on planes and long car rides. Midway had a big sale on them last weekend. Maybe able to catch it.
dansedgli
It closes on my edge with the standard ipsc magwell but the sides don't seal properly. Its a bit big.
rancher5
All else fails foam is easily moldable with an electric knife type used for carving meat. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
vtecpaoche
It closes on my edge with the standard ipsc magwell but the sides don't seal properly. Its a bit big. Thanks. It looks like I would need a wider case then. The Dawson ICE magwell is pretty wide.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: See if the MTM small pistol case will fit in your backpack and pistol? If you are not using it for airport use I would just use soft zippered pocket pouches. Shooters Connection sells some that I use. They even hold my open gun. Bouboy02
Got the case in today. Fits both of my Shadows perfectly and it fits in the DAA back pack.. For those wondering it is to thin to fit a gun with a large magwell in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
striped1
Look up Patriot Cases and have him custom carve the foam for you. Much better than pulling the cubes.
BeerBaron
If you're going to fly away matches you could remove your 2011 magwell and refit at the other end. A bit of hassle but not too bad.
