Malarkey
So I had some ammo issues with my rounds not chambering fully in my limited pro. I beleive that they were set at 1.09 OAL, but they were acting like they were too long. I ended up swapping out to my stock 2 and it ran through the ammo with no issues at all. What is everyone specing their OAL at for their limited pro's?
Nealio
The chambers *should* be the same. What bullet are you using? I've had issues like this when I was running a stubby .356" bullet (It was PowerBond's old profile).

EngineerEli
Does the ammo pass the plunk test in the Lim Pro barrel out of the gun?
Hi-Power Jack
they were 1.09 OAL, but acting like they were too long. What were they doing that made you believe they were too long?
Malarkey
They plunked a littlle bit more in the S2 barrel compared to the LIM PRO barrl. It appeared to have a little bit left to go.
norbs007
I used BBI 147gr on both my S2 and Lim Pro @ 1.100" without issues. But won't be surprised if you find inconsistency between the barrel chambers, my two S2s got different barrel length
Malarkey
Looks like ~1.088 to 1.09 is the right length. It did need a bit more crimp, but it passes the plunk test at that OAL.
robport
I believe you have to look at the bullet shape. For .40 sw, I can load some, say Xtremes, pretty long, say 1.135, where I have to drop Precisions to 1.085. It depends on the maximum thickness at the shoulder and how far that shoulder is from the front of the bullet. The first time I shot my limited pro in competition, I loaded the precisions like I had the Xtremes and only made it through one stage. I didn't do the plunk test and paid the price for it.
