Honeybooboo
I've always had glocks. After playing around with m&p'a I want to get one because it seems they've made big improvements to the triggers. They are still heavy though. So I want to drop some of the weight and smooth it out if possible. I'm reading online that because of the changes not all the apex parts work anymore. So what are people buying nowadays? StealthyBlagga
APEX DCAEK for carry and USPSA Production. Apex FSS kit for USPSA Limited/Open. Both kits will work with all generations of gun.
shutr
I just installed the APEX competition kit in my gun. The trigger pull is now at 3 1/2 lbs and it works great.

Flash74
You can buy confidently in Apex. If for some reason the trigger parts would not fit, they will help you out and get you what you need to make it right.
BBQRibs
Apex FSS and aluminum trigger kit was nice in my 2015 manu. M&P Pro. Only reason I swapped the stock trigger back in was for production rules. Currently: Stock trigger, Apex Comp spring kit, hard sear, and USB plus some typical part polishing = smooth pull ~ 3 lbs. Lior
9mm M&P Pro of 2014 vintage, original trigger was 5 lbs; got it down to 3 lbs with an Apex CAEK. After that I installed the FFFSST kit, leaving in the previous kit's striker spring and trigger return spring. This resulted in a 1 lb trigger before I installed the correct sear spring. Because of sear flutter I installed the sear spring per Apex' recommendation and ended up with a trigger of about 2 lbs.
S&W686
I have used Apex on all of the M&P's I own and they have worked great for me.
crazygiant
Again I'm another vote for the Apex fss trigger kit. Plus if your coming from glocks the bladed trigger safety on the fss might feel more at home than the hinged stock trigger.
BuellX1
+1 Apex
aandabooks
I'm also new to the M&P. Going to need a trigger kit. Is the competition kit for $130 the one to buy? The Apex stuff is not quite as straight forward in their descriptions as the PRP products I've used in my XDM.
