ny32182
Both my Limited Pros came with an enormous paddle on the left, and a paddle matching that of the stock 2 on the right. The left side paddle is way too big for me, so I just change the main safety lever to that of a stock 2, so the entire safety assembly then is a match to the Stock 2. EngineerEli
I was going to say the same thing. Not all, but certainly some Limited Pro's have shipped with the ambi safety the gold team sized paddle on the left side. They are black though, not stainless/chromed like on the gold team though, not sure if finish makes a difference to legality. But I would say the black one is good to go in production. I use one! haiedras
Interesting, with the limpro single sided safety, I just rode it like a 1911 safety. Worked pretty well. Still figuring out if I prefer that over the stock ambi-safeties, but we'll see.
Stician
Its wider than the Limited Pro safety?
SuspectXX
Its wider than the Limited Pro safety? I want this set up but reversed. so the big safety is on the right and normal small is on left. (Im a lefty) does this fit the box?
kneelingatlas
I've never seen a Limited Pro with an ambi safety before, but it certainly looks the same as the GT:
Garmil
Are the witness elite match safeties a direct swap with all these mentioned? I'd like a wider lhs than what's on mine. Any know the width difference between a match and lim pro?
kneelingatlas
Yes, they're a direct swap. All mine have the wide paddle, otherwise I'd take measurements for you.
haiedras
Isn't it still too big for the box though with the gt safety?
vixty
according to sonny's measurement the GT are a few cm to wide for the box, however I would only rule them out if we know for sure the box wont close on them.
vixty
I actually like the idea of the one sided limited pro safety because it will be easier to remove the sear housing.
C-Money
You can also just not put the right side safety on the ambi and it will fit the box.
jom
i really want one of the black ambi GT safety where can i find the cheapest one??
TDH
My Lim Pro came with the black GT ambi safety.
vixty
If we don't put the ride side safety on wouldn't that be considered an external mod?
