  1. 23+1 with grams 11 coil spring and follower. 23 reloadable and eventually 24+1 with rune tactical follower and spring and maybe the csrg follower and spring.
  2. What kind of magazines are used for this witness? It's PROBABLY a small frame if you can use CZ type magazines, and if so, patriot defense makes grips for them. I also have a metric ton of small frame tanfo grips that I'm not using so if that's the case, feel free to hit me up and I can send you a variety of grips to test out.
  3. Patriot Defense and Italian Firearms Group have taken over importation and support for tanfo in the US.
  4. Minutes showed the vacancy was posted. https://uspsa.org/documents/minutes/20140710.pdf Bylaw 16.4 also states that dnroi must be an RMI or be able to attain RMI status within 12 months of selection and a be Life member. Not sure how many RMIs there were in 2014, but currently there's...11-12 iirc?
  5. That's actually how it went the last time. Meeting minutes in 2013/2014 showed that when John Amidon left, Carl Schmidt, Ray Hirst, and Troy McManus applied and were interviewed for the opening and Troy was hired.
  6. The update for ipsc prod/PDO rules is significantly more liberal than in years past, you should be fine with the entire package.
  7. The Xtreme and Henning guiderods are ipsc legal for sure. Even for 9, the guiderod replacement is recommended. IIRC, Henning did the original development on an improved guiderod, the Xtreme more or less copies his design, and the PD is a relatively recent entry. Of the 7-8 small frame tanfos I've run over the years, I replaced all the stock guide rods with the hennings.
  8. The only requirement for IPSC basepads are that they do not add significant weight, currently assessed at no more than 25g. I have Springer Precision basepads for a cz 16 round mecgar magazine that work with the tanfo stock magazines. Note the cz basepads will work, but there are design differences as the standard cz mecgar magazine holds 17 rounds and the tanfo mecgar magazine holds 16 so you may run into over-insertion issues on slide lock reloads
  9. Yes, the mecgar 17s and nickel mags both work for hennings. I run them currently.
  10. https://www.hornady.com/ammunition/frontier#!/ It's Hornady and is fine.
  11. I actually switched to the stock shadow 2 TRS, more tactile reset for SA. Otherwise you can go to patriot defense or the stoeger pro shop for the stock tanfo trs springs.
  12. Mecgar 17 round mags with henning basepads, grams 11 coil springs and followers. 23 reloadable
  13. Nope..I run a separate toolhead, sizing die is on seating station then run a Lee FCD crimp die with crimp insert removed on last station.
  14. Fw or Lee universal decap die. Any resize die on the station opposite the swage station. Lee crimp die with crimp insert removed in the last station.
  15. It fires with the safety on in SA? Or you have the safety on in DA and it fires? What safety are you running? The stock limpro wide safety or the unica flat safety? Firing pin block has nothing to do with the issue, the manual safety mechanically blocks the sear from moving.
  16. I always liked the RLN or Ghost pouches. Both are adjustable and pretty reasonably priced.
  17. Wolff, Stoeger Pro Shop, Patriot Defense offhand
  18. Your opinion is invalid because you're a Master Boomer.
  19. Different hammer weights. The standard and heart shaped hammers are the stock hammers iirc and there's no difference in hammer hook geometry. The Delta Xtreme hammer has different hook geometry and is lighter than stock
  20. You won't be able to load that long on your tanfo. 3.5 should be more than enough for 135gr
  21. Dang, I totally forgot to check this thread. Yee-min, I was the CRO for the shoothouse, stage 1. Hope you didn't get too reamed by Shannon's stages. I'm not as familiar with the large frame mags, but I vaguely remember occasional issues because the K9 mag needs an insert like a 2011 mag to run 9. I've honestly never seen that issue where a round is almost vertical. Gun should run fine with an uncut XP extractor spring without break-in. Having issues with that many rounds left I'd guess there's some interference between the mag body, spring, or follower. Do you get the same issues when you run a stock mag, follower, and spring?
  22. L10 innovations, Reloading Innovations, Entirely Crimson
  23. Vectan ba9.5, ba10, maybe GM3. Hp38, Winchester WST
  24. The deer antlers are browning brass headstamps. Both are fine
  25. The TRS isn't a weak point in the tanfo unlike the czs. I broke 1 in 5 years of 20k+rounds a year. The extractor can be a pita depending on if you're running the stock or wolff xp spring. If your rounds are headspacing off the chamber and not the extractor, you should be fine. If you're headspacing off the extractor, be prepared to replace the extractor multiple times a year when you least want to. I'll be working FLOP, hit me up when you're coming through.
