tnorman
Which of these belt systems do you guys think are better...like more choices of attachment and such. I don't have any fat guys at the local range to try their gear so I'm reaching out here. Thanks in advance.
Jesse Tischauser
BladeTech is more flexible but Safariland better clips. The best is yet to come.
tnorman
Are the ELS clips that much better then the tec lok clips?
MarkCO
Are the ELS clips that much better then the tec lok clips? Yes. I run ELS brackets on a CR Speed belt. Best set up I have found so far.
Jesse Tischauser
The ELS are redundant with two clips. The TMMS are more versatile and can be mounted anywhere.
Vlad
My problem with TMMS is the tec loks which I generally dislike. For our games I like the ELS bolt through the belt approach, and I even like their belt. I know Mark has seen the belt closure come undone a lot, and I've seen it too but I think that is very easy to fix, I just run an extra belt keeper or two where I think it needs it. ccoker
I run the complete Safariland but not a huge fan of the belt, would like to try the CR Speedbelt with the ELS plates.
tnorman
How do you run the els clips on the cr belt? I haven't checked out a CR belt up close yet...I have looked at the ELS at BPS.
MarkCO
The CR belt has the stiffest outer belt, which I like. I tried TMMS bolted direct, the locking tabs failed towards the end of the year. This is the best set up I have tried so far. I keep the pistol holster on a Tek-Lok.
tnorman
Thank you. So it appears you are just putting the bolts through the Cr belt to use the els clips?
MarkCO
Thank you. So it appears you are just putting the bolts through the Cr belt to use the els clips? Exactly. I do drill holes through first.

The bolt on holes and lack of flexibility that comes with the set home placement is why I dislike ELS. My stuff is never in the same spot depending on stage design. mulrick
I run the the blade tech belt, with the Tmms on top of the teklock. I have tried a few and this one is the best for me right now... You can see it in a few configurations: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=201634&p=2243804

Thats why you rotate the els clip on whatever you are putting on the belt instead of the belt clip.
jon49erfan
One thing I learned is that if you are using tec locks, use velcro on the back of the tec locks. If you have a few tec locks close together, there will be a good 1/4 or more area of outer belt that isnt secured at all to the inner belt. MarkCO
That is why I leave my holster on a TekLok. I can move my belt around to get the accessories where I want them and move the holster to accommodate.

I just have enough plates on the belt that I can mix and match as needed

thermobollocks
I go chump mode and put some adhesive Velcro on the insides of my Tek-Loks. Maybe I don't Hulk out hard enough to require anything beefier
tnorman
I see there is a forum dealer that makes adapters to use the els clips. It seems that would get quite expensive though for multiple attachment.

orangeman711
I much prefer the ELS system. Not that the Tech Lok system is bad .I just prefer the ELS.
MarkCO
Agree, and ELS on a CR Hi-torque belt makes me the happiest of all.
Shooter115
Agree with Mark 100% on the ELS clips bolted directly to a CR Speed belt. I made the move to this last year and am really happy with it. Here's how I've got mine set up.... http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=210623&hl=
