  1. Looks like a good time. It's about a hour and a half drive for me. I need to get out there
  2. I've had my Voodoo in operation since February without a single hiccup...couldn't be happier.
  3. I have the same set-up barrel and bcg wise and have had zero issues. I do have a adjustable gas block which is almost totally closed with a near empty rifle length buffer.
  4. Congrats...three boys here too. My oldest is 10 & loves going to the range with me.
  5. I wear Wiley X too and love them. They are reasonably priced.
  6. I read somewhere...maybe here on the lmos weight thread that the voodoo is 7.3 oz. I don't have a scale to verify that with mine though.
  7. I have the voodoo with a seekins adjustable gas block. I run it with two weights in the buffer and it shoots super soft.
  8. I have a Vortex Strikefire 2 and love it. I have no problem out to 250 yds with it.
  9. Does the select barrels come with the accuracy guaranteed like the match barrels do...if so send it back.
  10. I think the three holes in the top of the comp is what is pushing it down so hard.
  11. I may do that next time I go shoot. I have a JM comp on my other rifle. I bought the Nordic for this one just to try something different.
  12. I have a lmos in the rifle. I finished removing weights from the buffer today and tuning the gas block. It shoots really soft. It just dips down noticeably when I fire more then 2 shots in rapid succession.
  13. I have a nordic tactical comp on my rifle. I have noticed when I try to make multiple shots in succession it dips hard. The comp doesn't have a hole in the bottom so I was wondering is it safe to add a port hole to the bottom of the comp.
  14. I have the voodoo bcg with a 18" nordic barrel. I have just started tinkering with the weights in the buffer...still need some experimenting..but overall I am happy.
  15. http://www.hernandosportsmansclub.com/match_results/action_rifle/mar15.htm I finished 5th out of 6 in limited which isn't last so I'm happy and 27/35 overall. They do have my score messed up on stage 5 indicating I had 110 seconds of penalties. I had 2 less the 6 point penalties which should have been 20 seconds.
  16. I did incur some penalties for shooting "hostages" & a few because I dropped a mag on a 40 yard sprint and didn't realize it until I ran out of ammo and couldn't reload....70 seconds in penalties for no shoots but I still had a good time.
  17. I can't speak for the stretch barrel but I was hitting poppers with great ease at 150 yards with PMC bronze out of my 18" Nordic.
  18. I shot a Action rifle competition yesterday...my first competition ever. It was 5 stages. The first stage was my favorite. It was all long range out to 225 yds with a spinning star at 150 yards. I don't have the final scores yet because it was a local match and they have yet to post them on the site. I will update when I get them. I did make the whole match without a DQ and that was my goal so I'm happy.
  19. I see there is a forum dealer that makes adapters to use the els clips. It seems that would get quite expensive though for multiple attachment.
  20. Thank you. So it appears you are just putting the bolts through the Cr belt to use the els clips?
  21. How do you run the els clips on the cr belt? I haven't checked out a CR belt up close yet...I have looked at the ELS at BPS.
  22. Are the ELS clips that much better then the tec lok clips?
  23. Which of these belt systems do you guys think are better...like more choices of attachment and such. I don't have any fat guys at the local range to try their gear so I'm reaching out here. Thanks in advance.
  24. I pay 127$ a month with Dish but I also have the sport package with outdoor channel, sportsman channel, world fishing network....etc
  25. I have the JM on one of my guns and I couldn't be happier. I haven't used any of the other 2 so I can't give a comparison.
