ES13Raven
My CZC Shadow Custom 2014 came with a Slide Stop that looks like it was cut & polished. I ordered a backup Slide Stop and it doesn't have the modification. What is the purpose of cutting & polishing the Slide Stop? Does CZC or CGW sell Slide Stops with the mod? Czhase
That mod is to lessen the chance of one of the rounds hitting it and locking the slide back in the middle of a stage. Just take a grinder or file to the new one to get a similar profile.
magpulled
I think it really helps if you load out ammo a little longer.

LincolnOsiris
get a Dremel tool and a bottle of scotch and go to town!
accu9
I believe the purpose is to reliably shoot heavy, long loaded bullets.
StevenR
147 gr bullets can hit it, causing unexpected slide stops and/or feeding issues. So if you don't use 147's don't worry, be happy.
teros135
get a Dremel tool and a bottle of scotch and go to town! The Scotch is for lubrication while you're grinding the nub down...

rowdyb
shooting 147 gr round nose bullets loaded out to 1.140 would hit the slide stop on me if it wasn't cut like this. but then again those rounds also wouldn't work well in the shorter cz chamber, so scrubbed that idea pretty quickly. 124gr round nose to 1.125 and all is well. like others i say just do it yourself by hand, especially as you have a good example to reference.
