  1. get a Dremel tool and a bottle of scotch and go to town!
  2. are the new York plant workers unionized? I dont think Alabama and Arkansas are. that is one big way to cut costs.
  3. Sounds like 3 gun sponsors are going the way of the dinosaur? I'm guessing maybe the market is saturated with ARs now so there is no point in sponsoring shooters?
  4. Does he guarantee that my glock will not Ka Boom with his trigger system?
  5. I understand there is a Utopian like shooting group that will allow you to shoot almost whatever you like, I believe its called USPSA? or something like that.
  6. I would look into becoming Pincus certified or mention the word ""Israeli"" when you talk about your military experience. Guys like Ben Goldstein are the top notch tier one types these days and clearly you need to focus on the Tactical crowd. that is where the money is.
  7. Seriously though, I am big and really need to lose weight but that will take a while! (think Chris Farley size) So I am thinking GOP's option #1 looks good and its only 20 bones.
  8. You would look like Patches O'Houlihan!
  9. I would look like an Obese Magic Mike in that one.
  10. That seems a little.......ummm......festive. Plus I am pretty big around so I need something with lots of room. Are there any Plus size vests out there for us big fellas?
  11. You can conceal it under any jacket or shirt as long as it stay concealed when you raise your arms parallel to the ground. As for vests the woolrich was the cheapest I could find and it functions quite well. that makes sense. I guess I could go James Bond style with a Blazer or sportcoat, or would that be over the top?
  12. Hey GOP, I'm a new shooter too, looking to start in USPSA and IDPA also. I am still trying to pick out which gun to use and holster/mag pouches etc. As for the vests, can you just wear your shirt untucked or are the vests a requirement?
  13. What about Robars NP3, I have two guns done with that. Seems to be pretty rust resisitant although a little slick feeling. Not sure about how durable it would be on a competitiion gun though. My two are a H p7 and a sig P245
  14. I've been told that by others as well, to get something that works iwell in more than one division. I like Glocks a lot and I've also shot Beretta's quite a bit in the service, but most people say get a glock or a cz for production. I may focus on that division, but limited sounds fun too. Thanks for the suggestion!
  15. Thanks! I'm from Arkansas, looking to get started in USPSA looks like a blast. Gonna try it out soon I think. I've watched a few matches and I've tried a few guns out. Still not sure what I want to go with though!
