I have heard some surprisingly good things about the UTG. For the price you would think it's a cheap unit, but to be realistic it's probably what a good HG should actually cost. I think manufacturers must watch this forum and realized we go coo coo for both coco puffs

and handguards and decided to capitalize on our weakness.

anyone running the SLR solo ultralight? It is super light and smaller diameter with Keymod with a smaller flat but flat bottom and sides. This may go on my upcoming build.

Yes, all of us on the Strong-Side Tactical team here in Colorado have been running them. Great hand guard.

I don't know about the most prolific, but I can tell you which ones I think give you the most for your money. Though there's quite a few folks that haven't heard of them yet the APF Armory T-mod system is the heat if you ever plan on adding any kind of accessory to the rail. http://www.apfarmory.com/ar15-m16-apf-t-mod-rail-15-5-w-acc/

For my pure competition rifles I actually prefer a round tube without a top rail. Tough to beat the Nordic Components piece here. Light, simple, sturdy and they're $100. http://nordiccomp.com/retail/shop/ar-15-10/nc-free-float-hand-guard-xl/
