Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. http://jprifles.com/buy.php?item=RR-LRP07HMCR I know you said "other than JP" but this one is in their Ready Rifle program so iit should be built and ready to go; as long as they have one in stock.
  2. If you dont get a response when an Email is sent to them often times the address is incorrect. Try one of the guys direct Email addresses. BEN@JPRIFLES.COM or DUSTIN.HELTEN@JPRIFLES.COM You could try calling but their phone lines have been pretty busy as of late. 651-426-9196 x103 for Ben or x107 for Dustin. It is also prety rare that JP has a receiver set that doesnt fit well. I know if you want it to be rock solid you should get one of their Billet receiver sets and it will be totally solid with no movement.
  3. If the question would be easier answered with brand rather then model, by all means use that term.
  4. The levers can also make so the bolt wont lock back since it makes the bolt catch is heavier and makes it so it runs sluggish. It is really more of an issue when combines with the JPSCS-15 since everything runs smooter and faster. I was told you can remove an `1/8" from the back bumper on the JPSCS to help it have a little more delay at the back of the travel without causing any negitive effect; this should give the bolt catch more time to lift and catch the bolt.
  5. With such a well rounded group of shooters here I wondered if people could help me with this curiosity I have on what are the 3 most prolific hand guard manufacturers in 3-gun and why. Thank you all for your answers.
  6. The long thermal dissapator give ~700% increase of barrel surface area while only weighing ~6oz. This helps to give much more consistant results in accuracy through the thermal range and also helps to greatly increase barrel life. If you keep that barrel cooler it will last much longer. Another benifit is that your handguard will not get anywhere near as hot because the barrel is dumping heat right away and never gets to such a high level of heat that a glove would be needed.
  7. Tula ammo is horrible. Not only is it unreliable do to inconsistant pressure curves but the Bi-metal projectiles wear barrels out way faster than a standard copper bullet. You are worried about reliability yet you are using some of the worst ammo available. strange...
  8. $75 plus your labor and machinist time would make it as expensive to most people as just buying an extra long setup. If you already have a JP handguard you could just upgrade your tube to the extra long for pretty cheap. If you have the people and can use there time for free then what you are doing is a pretty good deal.
