  1. 2 lumens per a foot is about right I guess.... Practically I know that I have engaged full size USPSA targets at 200 yards with a Vortex viper PST 1-4 (illumination at 6-8) and a NITECORE P12 at high pretty easily in pitch black range conditions. Thanks for this info.
  2. Thanks for your help guys!! Also do either one of you know how far I can expect to see a target with either flashlight. The range I'm visiting may have targets out to 200 yards. also just ordered vikings light mount, thanks for the tip
  3. I want to get a decent flashlight for my ar and was interested in this: Fenix E35 Ultimate Edition UE 2016 1000 Lumens LED Flashlight or this Fenix PD35 960-lumen flashlight Cree XM-L 2 or this one ThruNite® TN12 EDC LED Flashlight: #1 Best Value Max Output 1050 ANSI Lumen any help would be appreciated.
  4. ID, thanks for the great info and sharing your knowledge.
  5. respectfully I disagree, when I opened my loading port I started off "safe" then as i got faster I opened the port some more.......then I got faster so I opened the port some more. The reason I go so deep on the left side is so I can keep my thumb behind the shell more without my thumb slipping off. I also want to mention what works for me may not work for you.... I find that with Pats port that 45 is not friendly to the human hand and that's why I rounded off and smoothed it all out.If you disagree read prior comment. Cheers
  6. I jumped straight to quads and in all honestly if you stick with it you can to do quads in about a week with several hours of practice a day. Hopefully this link will work but I almost won a Delton Ar15 with this run, check out my quad load. https://www.facebook.com/oscar.campos.7773631/videos/10155764686170599/
  7. it is , i have been running mine for a little over a year now and it still kicking peoples A$$'$.. Go ahead an order M2 extractor and spring
  8. yes I have tried a new mag but not a heavy buffer, in that video I have a empty carbine buffer and have also tried a standard carbine buffer same result
  9. no i have not, really dont think its the bad lever. Gun runs 100% with spikes bcg interesting
  10. Thanks for this info, I'm going to change out my gas block, make sure every thing is lined up correctly and then begin to mess with the buffer spring one coil at a time. Thanks everyone for your input.I'm uploading a youtube video that I recorded the rifle in action in slo mo . Tell me what you guys think. also went ahead and took off my handguard take a look at the gas block
  11. Well couldn't get the Voodoo carrier to run, changed out the bolt with my spikes and no success. Mark your comment confuses me because logically if there is enough gas to move a heavier bolt one would think there should be enough gas to move a lighter bolt. The only thing that makes sense to me is that if the voodoo unlocks to quickly, and comes off the gas tube too quick the gas key may not stay in place long enough to take in the gas it needs for it too cycle. Please elaborate.
  12. Gonna try swapping out my spikes Bolt into the Voodoo carrier and see what happens.Heading to the range now
  13. ok, so does that mean the there may be a problem with the Voodoo BCG then, because that is what I am leaning towards.
  14. Spun a spinner with 2 slugs and hit a popper in between shots. Don't let it intimidate you, start to watch video at 3:12.
  15. On my current 3 Gun Rifle I am trying my hardest to get my Nordic Barrel to cycle my low mass carrier. Gun is set up as follows Non adjustable Gas block, EMPTY Carbine Buffer, TTI Buffer Spring ,Rifle length gas System. I also have tried Carbine Buffer and Carbine Buffer Spring also with no success. The gun is short stroking and not sure how to fix it besides drill the gas port and run a adjustable gas block. Gun will run 100 % with a carbine buffer and spikes bcg.... I know, I know but I want to run the low mass carrier. Any advice would be appreciated. I will attach a pic of my rifle possibly even a video in slo mo.
  16. Serial # is on the other side
  17. Hooked up a good friend of mine that bought a Stoeger M3000, here it is fellas.
  18. This is what I did and should be your goal , good luck. FYI I Live in the Upstate
  19. yes that is what I used and for the dowel... get a screw and screw it into the center of the end of the dowel with the screw still sticking out. Then get a drill and tigthen it around the screw so all you have to do is hold sand paper and activate the drill to spin the dowel to get the diameter slightly smaller than a 12 gauge shell.
