FireShooter
Putting a nightforce nxs 5.5-22 on my AR10. What scope mounts would you recommend? Also think I need a 20moa mount? Thanks

MarkCO
Warne SKEL or JP. Are you going to dial and shoot beyond the scopes adjustment?
FireShooter
Yes and yes. I occasionally lob rounds beyond 1000
FireShooter
Also how is zero retention on those two?
MarkCO
Well, if yes, then yes. Never lost zero on a JP or a Warne Skel and I use those two on everything.

Tom Freeman
I am using a Spuhr mount on my long range AR-15 chambered in 6 Grendel using a S&B 5-20. Very happy. http://spuhrwebshop.com/en/mounts-for-cantilever/ Edited July 14, 2014 by Tom Freeman
ShooterSteve
A lot of long range shooters recommend the Spuhr mount. The are very expensive, but very well built.
dauntedfuture
I have used 30MM LEUPOLD QRW rings for years with good results but i'm not sure they would be high enough for your AR-10. Good return to zero when switching back to scope after irons match. If you go the Larue route, make sure you get the mount tight. I was having some wondering zero issues with mine until I torqued it down tighter than I thought necessary.

davsco
i'm using a NF 20 MOA unimount on my 24" .308 ar-10 and NF 5.5-22. make sure you threadlock the mount's knobs... i had a zero MOA mount on prior .308 AR-10 and that same scope ran out just past 900yds.
