I'm thinking about doing the same to a recently acquired 24. I wonder if Glock would even have a 24 slide to replace it with? It is discontinued correct? Besides, if you shoot it enough to crack the slide, you probably got your money's worth out of it.
I've recently started loading .40 for a Glock 24 and haven't had an issue with chambering. I bought a couple thousand once fired cases from the classifieds here and they have the Glock bulge. I assume that if I size them and have no issues with chambering in my Glock, then I don't need to run them through the bulge buster?
I have a Sako Finnfire Varmint in a McMillan A5, a couple 10-22s with Titan barrels but probably my most accurate is an Anny 54 Sporter. It's insanely accurate.
I have bullets and brass for the 40 on the way. will be researching where to shoot soon. Still need to get gear sorted. Holster and mag holders are next.
Mostly at home lately. I've shot at TacPro, Tiger Valley, Ft Walters, and Rifles Only. I'm actually more of a rifle shooter but getting into pistol more these days.
